Splashy I planted the seeds directly on 01.01.2026, and the first two germinated on 04.01.2026. I've since moved them to a different container where they don't have as much humidity as the other two that haven't germinated yet. They're now under a Sanlight EVO 3.80 that is dimmed to 25%. However, they'll soon go into my propagation tent as soon as it arrives.
Today, on 07.01.2026, the 3rd one has germinated. It's slowly stretching its head out. Now I'm just waiting for the 4th seed.
I ordered the propagation boxes on Amazon; they have LEDs in them, which is great for providing additional warmth for the seeds to germinate. I printed the containers myself with a 3D printer, using them for the first time, and so far, I'm satisfied with them.
08.01.2026
By now, all 4 have germinated. I've removed the lid from the propagation box for the first two since I'm keeping the tent at 70% humidity. The other two will stay under the dome for a few more days until they have slightly larger leaves. I'm glad all 4 have germinated. Now it's just a matter of waiting and seeing how they develop and if I need to cull any.
09.01.2025
Today, I transplanted the 2 that germinated first into 1L pots. The soil was dry enough, and since the humidity in the tent is already at 70%, they can go into the new pots. I was able to transplant them very well thanks to the self-printed propagation box. The pots are filled with Biobizz Light Mix, and I adjusted the water with CalMag and brought the pH down to 6.5. In a few days, I'll transplant the others as well, but it will take a bit longer. I watered each 1L pot with 300ml (1/3), half from the top and the other half from the bottom, so the pot can soak up evenly.
11.01.2026
Today, I transplanted the 2 latecomers into the 1L pots. I set the water back to the values mentioned above and used Biobizz Light Mix. Since yesterday, I've had my propagation tent from Spider Farmer, measuring 60x40x50. The setup was great, and the quality is perfectly fine. I'm trying to maintain a humidity level of 70% and a temperature of 25°C in the tent. I'll leave them there for a while until the first leaves grow over the edge of the pot. I also gave each 1L pot another 300ml of water. I got the Mars Hydro 2-set VG40 (2x20W) light and hung it up top.

Today I repotted into the 11L final pot. I used Biobizz All Mix for the final pot since I still had enough for this run. For fertilizer, I took Greenhouse Feeding Bio Grow; since I'm using All Mix, I reduced the recommended amount to 1.5g/L substrate and mixed it with the soil. In the watering water, I added 1g/L of water and then the Bio Enhancer, which will be added to the watering water every 14 days from now on. I adjusted the pH to 6.5 and also adjusted the CalMag to 1ml/L.
This will also be my first grow using the new smart socket from Mars Hydro. Included are sensors for PPFD, CO2 (which I’m not controlling), substrate moisture and EC, humidity, and temperature sensors. I connected a humidifier and let the whole system be controlled by the socket. I set my humidity to 65 and my temperature to a maximum of 28°C. The exhaust will only turn on if it gets too warm or too humid in there; otherwise, it’s off. I still have the circulation fan running at medium speed, positioned at lamp height.
I watered until I got drain out the bottom, in 500ml increments. About 3L went in per pot until something came out the bottom. Now I’ll let them sit for a while and only start watering again when the substrate moisture falls below 60%. Next week, I’ll increase the PPFD to 300.

Splashy The ladies were topped today and pulled outward with the wires. One of them has shot up quite a bit, while the other 3 are staying at the same height level. One of the ladies has an unusual appearance, a bit asymmetrical, but I'll keep her going. In the coming days, I'll water them and add the ordered nematodes, as I've spotted a few fungus gnats. Otherwise, I'm keeping an eye on the temperature and humidity to stay consistent. I've also raised the PPFD to 460, and so far, they seem to be handling it well.

Today, a defoliation was done and the branches were spread apart with plant wire. One oddly grown lady has developed a strange shoot on top that has quite a bit of stunted growth. I'll cut it off if it continues to deteriorate. For now, I'll leave her in the veg stage for about another week and then switch to flowering.

Splashy Now in the 4th week of veg, I switched to flowering. Added 3mg/l of Bio Bloom substrate and set the light to 12/12. The one with the stunted growth in the front left has recovered quite well, but now I'm worried about the one in the back right. I think it didn't handle the lockout very well and is now having issues with yellow leaves. In my other tent, I also had the same lockout, but they recovered well after switching to flowering and using the bloom nutrients. Now it's just watering until week 3 of flowering, and then I'll defoliate again.

Splashy You've really filled out the tent in bw1 and they've become quite bushy. Even the problem child in the back right has somewhat recovered, not perfect yet, but I think it will get there. I'll wait until day 21, but then lollipopping will be done.

Splashy Today on day 21, the defoliation was completed along with the lollipopping. It was really about time, as many small shoots that weren't getting light at the bottom had to go since they were taking up space. Now it's nice and airy again, and the buds can grow. Today I also added the first dose of the Green Sensation from Plagron. Let's see how they do with that. What I find positive is that there have been no hermaphrodites so far; it looks different in my other tent.

Splashy Today the enhancer came again, so far they look good. Further down I see here and there a leaf that is turning yellow, but it's also very far down and is permanently in the dark, I think it's slowly shedding the useless leaves.
In terms of stage, they are still very far behind, it will surely take another 3 weeks. I wonder if they will take that long for me or if it will take the others in the contest that long as well.
The smell is still very subdued and not so extreme.

The problem with the excess carbonates hasn't gotten worse, but it hasn't improved either. I've replaced Green Sensation with pk13 14 and hope for better results in the future.
The plant in the front right looks the best so far; I really like the bud structure there. It almost looks like it has a 1-2 week head start, but it actually germinated around the same time as the others.
Overall, I'm not changing anything for now; I'll just let it continue as it has been and observe.

Since the buds are so heavy and drooping like that, I've decided to support the buds with stakes so they don't hang on the tent walls and, in the worst case, get moldy.
When I look at the trichomes, I think it will take another 2-3 weeks until they are ready for harvest. They are starting to turn milky; I think about 20-30% are milky and the rest is clear.
During the next watering in 2 days, I will add enhancer one last time. Once almost all are milky, my plan is to stop using the PK 13-14 and let them suck the last nutrients from the soil and the leaves.

Today I checked the trichomes, and I also spotted the first amber colors, but there are still some clear ones. For that reason, I only gave half the amount of nutrients today, and next time it will just be water. It's finally coming to an end.
The strain has pleasantly surprised me in every aspect so far. The growing process had no issues from the strain itself, and the smell is very floral and sweet. I had some problems with the pH at one point, but it sorted itself out after I adjusted the pH from 6.5 to 6.3 in the watering. Additionally, I slightly increased the calmag agent by 0.2ml/l. The buds have turned out really nice and big, a true beauty. I can recommend this strain to anyone; even beginners will have a good starting strain that causes little to no problems.

Today I decided to harvest the ladies. The main reason that led me to harvest now were the trichomes; you can see amber colors on every plant now. They also aren't drinking as much anymore, and I only had to water every 3 days instead of every 2 days.
They are now roughly trimmed and drying and curing in the V-Cure from Vivosun. I will take more pictures once they are done. I'm really looking forward to the results. The buds will be dried for 5 days and then cured for 9 days, so there will be new pictures in 14 days.
I wish everyone participating in the contest good luck and a great grow; in the end, we are all winners of a good grow.
Thanks to Zamnesia and Plagron for providing the seeds and nutrients.
They once gave me the chance to test a strain from Zamnesia and to sniff the nutrients from Plagron. I liked both and will definitely rely on them in the future.

Looking good , nice job so far .... not criticism but i noticed you tied down your bottom branches to open up the canopy , for your next grow try and tie down or use bend clips on the top branches. it will give you a more even canopy. good luck in the cup.
@Cheechy, first of all, thanks for the comment and the tip. I'm pulling the lower branches apart so I can let more air and therefore more light to the buds. I'll also bend the upper ones down later to get everything at the same height. With the bending clips, I break at least one shoot every time, I just have no luck with those, I manage better with the wires. Good grow my friend!
@WeedleyScott, it really makes drying so much easier for me because I can't just control the values in the room. I've been struggling every day to keep the temp and humidity relatively stable in my room. In summer, the AC has to be on in the room, in winter the heating has to be on, but then you can't get rid of the moisture without a dehumidifier, and you can't control the temperature the way you want, especially when there's a tent from my lady in the same room and it's in the growth phase while I'm drying in the same space. The room door also has to stay closed when I'm not in there since we have a cat, and she tries to climb around the tents—circumstances that not everyone has, but it works for me; it’s already worth it for that alone. Plus, it doesn't occupy the tent for 14 days before I can put something back in, so for me, it has definitely paid off.
@GERGrowDesigns, Thanks my friend, I think I will only go with pk13-14 from week 4 onwards in the future and skip the Green Sensation. I hadn't encountered the issue with the excess carbonates before, so I'll just leave out the Green Sensation. In my current grow with the Permanent Markers, I'll see if it gets better.
