First ever grow, I'm a Google expert 😂 No nutes yet just a bit of root enhancer. 2 out of 3 pineapple hatched along with the free kush seed. Got a sensi #119 spare as back up so will add it in with the grow. Couldn't find any other diaries or reviews on this strain so will be interesting to see how it goes. It's a 1x1x2m bud box lite with a 600w digital ballast full spectrum, 5 inch extraction fan and carbon filter, 5 inch fresh air fan and a tower fan for circulation Planning on growing in a 4 pot auto system fed by a 47ltr tank with aqua valves in 15ltr pots with perlite and coco mix. Also intending call mag cos read the pineapple express need it. Bought the wrong nutes, should have got coco ones but hoping they will be ok Any advice greatly appreciated.

Potted right up this week going by the autoflowers don't like disturbance advice I've read. Found out the temp was way to high so got light as far as possible on 250w. Pineapple looks a bit yellow so could be heat stress or not enough nutes?

Using the autopot feeding system, basically the pots sit in water 24/7 will this not overwatering them?

Hey Cheezy, well that's what it looks like when the trays are flooded, but eventually the water evaporates or gets sucked into the soil and drunk by the plant. HOWEVER ! Right now you've got these seedlings, and the bottom feeding technique is NOT YET suitable for them. That's because their "root mass" isnt very massive yet lol their roots are too small for bottom feeding is what i'm trying to say. So for the first 3-4 weeks you should absolutely top feed , that means watering from the top. When they get established as young plants they'll be able to get bottom fed. Right now if you dont top feed them, they'll dry out and die. Hope this helps ! 🚀

Sensi #119 added in this week and seems to be doing really well and catching up fine. Started lst this week and seems to be going ok for first attempt just being gentle! Pots are still completely flooded at the bottoms and have added silicone into the mix. Don't know if I have set up the auto pots correctly, followed the instructions but cant find much about them in grows

Funny old week this week! Pineapple Express really don't like the nutes too strong, I've got them on half the stated nutes and just give them water every other feed to see if the tips will stop burning on the new leaves. Critical kush has a stalk like an oak and seems really happy whatever. Sensi #119 also doing well as seems happy. Apart from the nute burns on the pineapple it seems to be doing ok but it along with its sister are a wee bit behind. Learned that the plants had been on a 24/7 light schedule because I'm a muppet and didn't switch the timer on! I've read that autos can be grown this way but I really think they look a lot healthier after getting some sleep at night. Have gone back to top watering as the auto pot was always flooding the trays and with the feeding being different it's just much easier. Have some ph testing strips arriving so I can start to check it. Pretty much happy with the way they are advancing, as always if anyone has any advice or feedback it would be greatly appreciated along with any nutes that I'm not currently using that you think would make a difference.

Well really happy with how things have gone this week, to be honest I should have listed them as flowering last week but no harm done. Tips are still running yellow on the Pineapple Express so going to reduce the nutrients on them even further than the half stated dose of the other two. The yellowing does grow out as the leafs develope and considering the rookie mistakes they had to endure in infancy are growing nicely. The Critical Kush is an absolute beast! If I do a bit of LST in the morning and spread it out, by the time I look in afternoon time its bushed out and grown into the space I made! I would definitely 100% recommend this strain for a first time grower as so far its bomb proof! Considering this came as a freebie from Barneys Farm when I bought 3 Pineapple express I wasnt expecting to much but wow! This is one I will definitely do again. The Sensi #119 is looking really happy apart from the odd bit of tip yellowing but only slightly and again disappears when they get bigger. Lovely green leaves that again love the LST and respond well. Smells delicious already. Had a few issues again with temperature going to 31 in the heat of the day so had to open the tent to let it cool down a bit. Fitted a more powerful extraction fan after pumping the lights up to 600w. Really think the Shogun Silcon is working its magic. Read lots of diary's saying be gentle with LST as the branches snap really easy but these things you could nearly bend in half. Once again thanks for looking and if anyone spots anything in the pics or has any advice please give me a shout. cheers

Another happy week all in all with everything flowering and growing along. Not the best of pictures tonight as they were over due the watering so flagging a little but will be up and fresh in the morning! The Pineapple Express remain a bit smaller and seem to have really stretched this week. I just feel I'm doing something not quite right. As a first time grower I lack the experience of being able to compare but they just look a wee bit on the yellow side. I've upped the nutrients a wee bit to see if it's been lacking? Any advice on these would be most welcome. The Critical kush is a pleasure to grow. Its onto 3-4 litres now before running off so might start watering it twice a day when I can and is still responding well to LST with buds popping up everywhere. The Sensi #119 is another happy camper, it's going nuts with buds stretching up all over the place and a really healthy looking shade of green. It will be a battle between it and the kush for the heavyweight title! Anyone reading that spots anything or can advise on any extra nutrients they think would help please give me a shout cheers!

Hi, anyone any experience of the pineapple express auto that could comment on how it looks? Just think its lacking something? Also would it be good to trim a few leaves from the Kush and #119? Both very bushy and have been leaf tucking but didn't want to start snipping.

Hey Cheezy. After checking out your diary I see that you are giving them plenty of food. The light green yellowing starting on the lower part of the pineapple is a sign of nitrogen deficiency which has to be caused by lockout from too much water. You can tell by the droopy leaves and fat thick puffy leaves from absorbing too much water. It is a good idea to get in the habit of lifting your pots so you can kinda get a feel for the difference in wet vs dry. You want to let them dry out quite a bit before you water so this doesn't happen. Let them dry out for a few days and they will turn around quickly. And as far as the defoliation. The leaf tucking is for the birds in my opinion. I have tried it and it is a constant battle. Just remove any of those upper leaves that are blocking light to the lower budsites. She will reward you with many more fat buds in the end. Best to start of taking a couple leaves and see how she reacts. Then take a couple more a day or so later. Overall your girls look great and with a tweak here and there you will get a great harvest. Good luck with them!

Not too bad a week I think, after more reading up its looks like I have a few popcorn buds and too late to snip them off? Mabey caused by heat stress as the temps went up a week or so ago during the heatwave. Will make good use of them whatever. Had a new grow question and had the Pineapple's identified as looking over watered. Think they are getting back on track again, poor things have had a hard life but amazingly have the frostiest looking buds under the magnifying glass out of the 3 so far! They are 65cm tall now and after 3 days drying out are on 1.5ltr a day with quarter dose of nutrients. Critical kush is again steaming on and happily growing away. I started to nip the odd leaf off here and there with no signs of any harm. I hadn't planned this to begin as had read that the autos don't like it and have too short a time to recover. Hopefully it won't stress it too much and the buds will thank me in the long run. Its drinking 3-4ltr a day full nutrients no problem. Standing at 74cm. Sensi #119 has done an S Club7 this week and reached for the stars! It was as tall as the Kush last week but has shot up to 85cm! Again I have nipped off a few leaves that were blocking off buds with no signs of harm. This one is very bushy and on 3-4 ltr and been on full strength nutrients but I gave it a little less on tonight's watering as it had the odd yellow tip here and there. Started with big bud into the feeds this week after trawling diaries and seeing what others are using! Don't know if I need it or not but hoping it won't hurt! Once again thanks for the input and advice it's all very much appreciated! If anyone spots anything please give me a shout. Cheers.

Really happy this week as everything seems to be back on track! A few days without watering seemed to sort them out and I'm now feeding every 2 days with between 1 and 2 litres. Smell is getting stronger by the day as the frosting builds up. Smells like fruity sweaty feet at the moment but in a nice way! Think they will be a couple of weeks at least but watching closely before I drop out the nutrients. Temperatures are dropping a bit so reduced the speed of the outake fan to see if it balances out. As always thanks for looking and any hints, tips or comments welcome cheers

All plain sailing this week and now onto plain water as I think they are just about there. Lots of pistols turning brown and doing my best to try and judge when the trichs are going milky. Not 100% sure if it will be ready but if anyone looking in can see anything please give me a shout. Smells delicious with a sweet fruity smell. Nearest thing I can think of to the smell it leaves on your fingers is rhubarb rock! Have trimmed off a few of the fan leaves to let in as much light as possible running up to harvest. Fingers crossed I dont cock it up from here on in.

Trichs are turning milky and think she is going into the final week. Just giving her plain water every other day and seems happy enough. Really fruity sweet smell and the stickiness left on your fingers after trimming is insane! Looking forward to getting to the finishing line. Cheers for looking in👍

Got to the end of the grow and she is now hanging drying. Dry weight is just an estimate dividing the wet weight by 1/5th. Took a few buds off a couple of days ago to quick dry and try. Smells absolutely amazing with fruity rhubarb and pineapple smells. Placed them in a paper bag on the car windscreen in the sun. Just about dry I ground one up n smoked it! I may be new to growing but not smoking and have been toking 20+ years so I know a tasty smoke when I can get one. No where near ready to smoke this still gave a smooth cough free smoke with a nice buzz that took 5 mins to developed into a lovely uplifting body stone! BOOM! result! Cant wait till it cures, Beats anything hands down that I've been paying good money for from local dealers! Thanks to Barneys farm for producing seeds that can endure clueless people growing them and still producing a tasty harvest. I will definitely use your seeds again and have great memories of getting blasted by the volcano vapes in your coffee shop in the 90s. Also thank you very much to everyone that took the time to comment and share their priceless knowledge over the grow! I'm off to roll a fat one and put the feet up. Cheers👍
