Hello Farm, When I opened my account on grow diaries 6 months ago, the plan was for the first grow to be Royal Dwarf. And here it is. When I started thinking about growing I thought I would start with some micro grow. And so I came across Royal Dwarf. Since I'm a fan of sativa, the plant is small in growth and is good as the first plant for a beginner. Since the plan changed a bit, I decided on two plants, with the company a week older Royal Jack Automatic. So, this is my set-up: Box - Secret Jardin DS120W 120x60x178 Lights - MIGRO 200+ Fan - Blauberg Turbo - E 100 Ventilation - 2X Monkey Fan 20W Oscillating Soil - BIOBIZZ Light - Mix AirPot - 12.5 lit. Seed - Royal Queen Seed I put the seeds directly in the ground, to a depth of 3cm after soaking it well with water. The first plant sprouted after 4 days and the second after 5 days. Plant 1 - smaller plant, sprouted on day 5 Plant 2 - larger plant, sprouted on day 4 In the first watering I added 2ml. ATAMI - NRG - Root - C and later I started adding BioBizz: Bio Heaven 2ml. and Acti-Vera 2ml and 3ml ATAMI NRG Root-C. I feed the plants every 3-4 days with about 1.5 lit. per plant. Since it's mid-summer, the temperature in the box rises to 30 degrees, causing a bit of trouble for the first week for Royal Jack, who moved in a week earlier. This week I am struggling with the temperature by putting iced bottles in the box which is working well for now. During the day, I generally manage to maintain a temperature of about 28 degrees. For now, the plants look nice and healthy, growing a little slower than Royal Jack the first week, but still they are dwarfs.

Grow Questions

On Dwarf 2 the leaves became paler than two days ago. Since the treatment is the same I do not believe it is related to supplements. Or is it normal given that they are heading towards the end of flowering?
Solved
Leaves. Color - Pale

The answer is in your question: it is because you are un mid flowering and until the end of flowering the plant will tend to be less green and more pale even yellowish , perfectly normal because they don't need as much nitrogen as is the early flowering

Nice lush healthy plants. πŸ’šπŸŒ±πŸŒ±πŸŒ±πŸ’š I also used frozen bottles of water until I got an aircon and also insulated my shack. Had temperatures of up to 37Β°c. Fried my autos. πŸ™„. But saved my photoperiods 😁

I have the same strain, its about 26 days old now and just started to shoot pistils. Would you recommend defoliation? It seems like it worked well with yours, but a lot of people say you shouldnt defo autoflowers. thx and nice grows you got there!
Leonard_Lunte
Leonard_Luntecommented5 years ago
@ButterfliesLittleFarm, do you think it made a difference in your overall yield?
ButterfliesLittleFarm
ButterfliesLittleFarmcommented5 years ago
@Leonard_Lunte, I did just a little defoliation two times. But nit too much.

Very beautiful plants my friend nice work. πŸ‘Œ I would like ask you (if you have time) because I'm first grower with Airpot and I'm struggling with the watering and the fertilisers, you watered every day you water every day with ferts or you water with in and without, varying? Check my Critical's diary if you have time. Happy growing my friend.

Sorry to tell you this but when plants are in late bloom the leaves will start to turn yellow from the bottom of the plant first not the top. The reason for this is the bloom nutrients have less nitrogen in them and the upper parts of the plant begin to cannibalize the nitrogen from the lower leaves making them yellow. Plants don't yellow from the top down unless you have a bad sulfur or iron deficiency which you don't have. You have a classic case of light burn starting in few weeks your leaves will become even more pale then the edges and tips will turn brown, then the leaves will dry/curl up .I would try to swing the main cola to the side or corner of your grow tent where the light is less intense.
