Very easy to use, I will continue to use Plagron and grow organic but my focus has shifted to the rhizosphere it’s microbes, fungi and bacteria.

I really enjoyed the entire process and I will continue to grow. Who am I kidding I loved it I’m hooked! I will definitely grow this strain again as I don’t feel as though I did her justice with all my rookie mistakes. I learned so much, easily the most rewarding hobby I’ve ever taken up. I will continue to grow organically but my focus has shifted to the rhizosphere it’s microbes, fungi and bacteria. I haven’t had the pleasure of tasting the fruit of my labor I will put up the smoke report after a 1 month curing. Keep chasing them trichomes 🌱

Grow Questions

When to harvest? The pistil hairs are now starting to turn red(more so on 1) and I’ve begun looking at trichomes. More are cloudy than clear no real appearance of amber or red/brown in color. I have arbitrarily chosen day 80 as harvest because it falls on a weekend/no moon.

Hey casso, so basically the plant is ready when (at minimum!) 100% of the trichomes are cloudy , clear trichomes means they are "empty" so no interesting molecules inside them. Amber means they are oxydised that means they are degraded (still interesting properties though!) . It's really not a good idea to look at the pistils for this , anyway all the pistils turn brown when you chop. Same for choosing day 80 : this is totally arbitrary it's best to go with the right data for this and of course the moon's effect (which I do believe is significant) is less important to your plants since they are indoors. You really need to look at the trichomes nothing else. I grew this strain before and what I can tell you is that it's a slow maturing plant, mine took 15 weeks if I remember correctly and they were 100% cloudy no Ambers. You can start the flush now anyway : in soil with autos the best thing is a 3 week plain water "flush" with no run off anyway. Apart from that these really don't look close to ready, six shooter gets fat right at the end, the difference in yield if you wait the correct amount of time will be pretty huge, but it's up to you to be patient growmie ! Hope this helps ! 🚀

Hey there, I grew a six shooter too, sorry for being the "bad news guy" but you're not that close to the chop ! Even with 80% cloudy and 20% clear you still lose 20% potency my friend. Always grow for maximum quality right ? Anything else you need just let me know 👊🏻

@Fast_Buds, Fantastic genetics!!! They took all the abuse a neophyte could throw at them (ripped main stem lst issues) and kept growing! God Bless America. I’m in week 10 and about to flush. I think with a better light (I went cheap) they would be even more fantastic. I will definitely run this strain again. Can’t wait to see how these girls finish! Thank you and keep up the fantastic work.

So, is it safe to say that you'd recommend Sugar Royal?

@RandomNoob, Absolutely it helped put trichomes on trichomes, even with the poor start and damaging lst. It is supposed to act as an accelerator, but I have no experience to compare it to. Also bonus when you use the Sugar Royal you have to lower the volume of Green Sensation by 1/2 that you use in your regimen depending on flower period that could be a game changer. Good luck and keep chasing those trichomes!
