First week of flower for the 2018 High Life winner. Switched all nutes over for the first week of flower to the recommended dosage on the bud labs app, minor de pruning of fan leaves to expose more colas. Will continue to remove excess leaves slowly to reduce stress and mold potential. Upgraded dehumidifier to 22-33 Pint so buds should stay nice and dry being that this strain is βknownβ to mold in the late 11 week flower. Also will be adding and review a new product from Zelda Horticulture. Itβs basically a ionized capsule that you put in your res to help regulate that perfect PH. Great product for all you hydro and DWC growers out there so Iβll post a link and pass it on. Other then that for now first week of flower and still growing STRONG πͺπΎ

Any good recommendations for a good Dehumidifier for a 36βx36βx72β (Tent)flower space/modest light when on, and one a step above what is reccomended?
The Ideal-Air 30 Pint Dehumidifier is great for small grow rooms and drying rooms. Purchase a condensate pump along with the 30 pint dehumidifier for easy continued use
@Mrs_Larimar, I am currently using the inkbird and itβs the best product so far just need a stronger dehumidifier, Think it jumps so easy due to it being hydroponics
If possible, let your tet open while the lights are on, give more airlow( add a fan) or maybe look for a warmer location for your tent ( warmer temps lower the rh) because dehumifidiers are expensive , loud and mostly warm....
@Mrs_Larimar, Thankyou for the tips, I currently have two 6β hydrofarm fans, intake and exhaust and RH is good when there on but when fans are off thatβs when it jumps, try not too run the fans constantly cause of the noise but with a 600 LED Iβm seeing heat and RH rises with fans off, I have one plant also, imagine after 4 DWC. Iβm thankful for any advice on this Journey!
@Puffer_Bill, Found a cool new product, still waiting on it to arrive to let you know how good it is.

@CRiSPrGrow, Preciate the love, still far from a master but thanks for followingπ―, Iβm open to any suggestions or advice. Keep growing strong! πͺπΎ
Hi @Punchman! This is country-related, since we have various brands & models around the globe, but basically here are the criterias you should look for: good pumping capacity (amount of water extracted per hour), coverage (surface covered by the engine), power (energy cost), drain system (how to get rid of the extracted water), robustness (how solid it looks), and last but not least, the humidistat function (capacity to automatically regulates the humidity, through a dedicated sensor or via an external controller). Depending on your needs (your current controller, your budget...) you will have to benchmark what's available around you. After looking at my local growshops I finally got myself a home dehumidifier with adjustable settings, my tent controller is only able to handle the exhaust fan and I didn't want to change it, in the end I'm very happy with the home dehumidifier (cost~300$), the only downside --> it usually increases the temp by 2-3Β°C. Hope this will help, let me know in the comments section if you need any further information, and happy growing! π
@Stick, Thankyou sir, new tent so Iβm still figuring out how to regulate the conditions, havenβt stressed the plant too much but going to flower next week so you know how important that is, nice diaryβs Iβll be following!
I noticed in your question about dehumidifiers, you mentioned low light output. Side note that may also be useful here: my wife can't sleep if there's any light in the room, so I went around and put electrical tape over every little LED or display console. Even the little red light on the corner of the TV that stays on when it's off. Black electrical tape works great for this! Duct tape would also work well but can leave behind a sticky mess when you pull it off.
