Started from seed in small greenhouse with use of seedling heat mat and small overhead led. Heat mat is now under the waterfarm to warm the resivoir to root safe temps. Temp and Humidity are all on titan controls and LED is a 600W Vipar spectra, Now just have to hurry up and wait 👀

Finished off week 3 with another flush with (15mL) Flawless Finish and algicide. Bumped base nutes up to 100% via Bud Labs nutrient calculator app. Strong Indica pheno so super tight internodal spacing. Fimmed the main cola at day 16 and is responding well, also began to LST on main cola, slight bending on the lower branches. Not sure if there is a teqnical name for this method but also started to tuck fan leaves gently to allow more light for the tops. We did a few mods to the waterfarm, routed a 1/4” air hose down the drain level hose and installed a 3.5” air stone to add oxygen to the nutrient solution, as well as a submersible water heater/thermostat to keep the resevior exactly at 70 degreees after adding ice. Not sure how many more weeks of veg exactly but will keep growing until the canopy is nice and full. Week 3 down and still growing strong💪🏾

Flushed on day 28 with flawless finish and algacide. Did some minor defoliation and started more LST with the addition of plant yo-yos. Plan on topping once more this week before Mo big into flower. I removed the water heater because it was harder to keep the water cool within 68-75F, so to correct it I placed the pump connected to the air stone outside of the tent so it consistantly pumps cool air into the resivoir, keeps it perfect and plant responded well. Nutrients dosage is consistent with last week and will remain the same during vegetative cycle. Another week of veg down and still growing strong💪🏾

Big week more upgrades. Went with an all new vivosun 2-1 48x36x72 grow tent. Plant is responding well to being topped and will give one more week of veg to continue the recovery from topping. Finished off week 5 with a Flawless Finish flush, and dosed nutes at 100% for week 6. Scott’s OG and GDP on the way soon! Another week of veg down and still growing strong💪🏾

The Ideal-Air 30 Pint Dehumidifier is great for small grow rooms and drying rooms. Purchase a condensate pump along with the 30 pint dehumidifier for easy continued use

First week of flower for the 2018 High Life winner. Switched all nutes over for the first week of flower to the recommended dosage on the bud labs app, minor de pruning of fan leaves to expose more colas. Will continue to remove excess leaves slowly to reduce stress and mold potential. Upgraded dehumidifier to 22-33 Pint so buds should stay nice and dry being that this strain is “known” to mold in the late 11 week flower. Also will be adding and review a new product from Zelda Horticulture. It’s basically a ionized capsule that you put in your res to help regulate that perfect PH. Great product for all you hydro and DWC growers out there so I’ll post a link and pass it on. Other then that for now first week of flower and still growing STRONG 💪🏾 https://growershouse.com/perfectph-natural-ion-ph-balancer-capsule#!

Finished off week 7 with a Flawless Finish flush, as far as nutrients we added big bud this week. Plant is starting to show pistils all female thank god😇🙏🏾, will get pics when flowers develop more. Starting to see a stretch but only minor. Defoliation was performed the last day so we should see a lot more stretch and new growth this week. The new product from Zelda Horticulture PH perfect ion balancer has worked well, everytime I check my resevoir it is well within range (5.7-6.3) so I can officially say this product works and is a big time saver. Still waiting to smell the rainbow ⏱️ but in all she’s still growing strong!💪🏾

Big changes in growth this week! Less stretch and more flower accumulation. Some of the branches are starting to bend from the weight of the flowers so I began to support with the use of plant yo yo’s. Going forward I will be using a stalk strengthener in the veg cycle as well. The smell is more present of lemon candy a lot similar to super lemon haze but stronger🍋🍋🍋. First hybrid I’ve flowered to show to different phenos on the same plant, some colas are more indica with thicker leaves and some are more Sativa as shown in the overall. Root ball is massive so just waiting to see how big buds swell, other then that still growing strong!👊🏽💪🏾👊🏽

All is well with LZ, one month left based on breeder expected harvest time so we’ll see how she looks by the end of this week before using overdrive. Adding a co2 boost bucket this week so hopefully we can bulk up the buds more in the final weeks, not sure how much more tho because buds are super dense, so dence most branches need supporting now. 😳 Still growing strong! 👊🏽💪🏾👊🏽

Couple of damaged leaves from fighting with the yo yo’s but overall a healthy plant from up top to the root ball, branches are still packing on weight and are getting heavier everyday. To the point where I’m afraid to unsupport branches and one snapping on me. Caint complaint with big yields tho, smell is there and is getting strong every day of lemons, very dense bud structure. Going to chop her some where around 9 weeks so only one more week of nutes before I flush. Glad I kept a clone of this pheno, still growing strong! 👊🏽💪🏾👊🏽

Lot of changes this week! Start off with the end of last week, had a branch get so heavy it snapped so I had to early harvest a few nugs, very dense in structure, dint take a wet weight but I’ll have a dry one to add to the total. None of the branches can support their own weight, yoyo’s off look like a bud octopus coming out of the res. 😂 Pictures of early harvest are listed in last weeks photos. Overdrive and the Co2 boost really speed things up this week, I have 80% colored hairs, 80% milky and 10% amber trichomes, peak THC harvest so I’m flushing this week with Flawless Finish. It’s been a long journey but it has finally come to and end. Lemon Zkittle harvest coming soon, just waiting on the plant to burn off all remaining nutes for a smooth clean smoke, still growing strong!👊🏽💪🏾👊🏽

This strain is tolerable to almost anything and loves to be feed well with reason. Did well to all training methods and produced many bud sites. Buds are dense and indica like, glad I kept a clone so this one I lives on. Very resinous buds, my guess is 22-25%THC. Lot of stretch in the first 3 weeks of flower but packs on nugs fast. As long as you follow the ABC of growing you should see great results. All around a outstanding strain from Dutch passion and would Reccomend to any grower!

If possible, let your tet open while the lights are on, give more airlow( add a fan) or maybe look for a warmer location for your tent ( warmer temps lower the rh) because dehumifidiers are expensive , loud and mostly warm....
Punchman
Punchmancommented5 years ago
@Mrs_Larimar, Thankyou for the tips, I currently have two 6” hydrofarm fans, intake and exhaust and RH is good when there on but when fans are off that’s when it jumps, try not too run the fans constantly cause of the noise but with a 600 LED I’m seeing heat and RH rises with fans off, I have one plant also, imagine after 4 DWC. I’m thankful for any advice on this Journey!

Hi @Punchman! This is country-related, since we have various brands & models around the globe, but basically here are the criterias you should look for: good pumping capacity (amount of water extracted per hour), coverage (surface covered by the engine), power (energy cost), drain system (how to get rid of the extracted water), robustness (how solid it looks), and last but not least, the humidistat function (capacity to automatically regulates the humidity, through a dedicated sensor or via an external controller). Depending on your needs (your current controller, your budget...) you will have to benchmark what's available around you. After looking at my local growshops I finally got myself a home dehumidifier with adjustable settings, my tent controller is only able to handle the exhaust fan and I didn't want to change it, in the end I'm very happy with the home dehumidifier (cost~300$), the only downside --> it usually increases the temp by 2-3°C. Hope this will help, let me know in the comments section if you need any further information, and happy growing! 👊

I noticed in your question about dehumidifiers, you mentioned low light output. Side note that may also be useful here: my wife can't sleep if there's any light in the room, so I went around and put electrical tape over every little LED or display console. Even the little red light on the corner of the TV that stays on when it's off. Black electrical tape works great for this! Duct tape would also work well but can leave behind a sticky mess when you pull it off.

Doenst the co2 emmer has to be used from start? Or is it possible to use it mid grow?
Punchman

@ElegantBuds, doesn’t have to, most growers only use C02 in mid to late flower to reduce stretching. When you use it is all up to the grower.
