Pistils developing everywhere. Unknown strain out of a random bud. No superior genetics. Test of grow knowledge. 9/4/19 - watered the girl and bigger pistils are developing. She is has about 5 to 6 weeks of veg in a 1 gal pot. With almost 21 days in flowering which we will start week 4 on Sept. 9th. Give me you opinions on how she is looking? 9/7/19 - moved the lights to 18 inches. Was at 24 still for some reason thanks guys. Will update.

So this is a regular seed from some bud probably ak47, cherry pie, something that area. Wanted to test my growing skills. So far so good and have had no problems besides natural yellowing from now light. Any thoughts on on health by looks? Approaching 21 days into flowering.

They are looking nice but a bit stretchy which makes me think that the light is probably a bit too high , so maybe by reducing the distance between the light and the too of the plant the buds development will be a bit faster and they'll be fattening more. Continue with the same method

9/9/19 - Had to work overnight. Thankfully watering schedules lined up right. Officially 21 days into flowering. Small amounts of frost starting to show. Should see higr growth from here onto Friday. 9/11/19 - lst and tucked a fan leaf. Should see increased speed in her growth. 9/12/19 - will be updating this diary on a 2 to 3 day basis or more if time allows. Took progress pics last night. Should see some growth within the next few days. Watering tonight. 9/13/19 - No watering needed after last night. No signs of stress. Gave the girl a nute mix again. Will see how she takes it and see if we can ramp things up even more! 9/14/19 - just some lst work today and ph balanced water. 9/15/19 - last day before we start week 5 of flowering. No updates

9/16 /19 - no updates today. 9/17/19 - no watering today. 9/18/19 - watered the girl. Added terpinator to the mix around 1 tsp. Will wait to see what happens. 9/19/19 - Found slight nutrient burn and yellowing leaves. I've learned that leaves give the energy needed to produce flowers. Silly me lol. I've realized I may have defoliated too much. We are 30 days +. I believe with the leaves I have left I can make some strong bud. So far shes still pushing. Expecting mid October harvest. 9/20/19 - After many professional opinions I may have a ph imbalance or I need to up the nutes due to how much this girl needs at this stage in flowering. Updated the nutes and will see if things change. Bag of seeds is a true challenge especially when you're a newbie and it's a random seed. It's like a pot luck. This is all for my own grow knowledge. So far we are still pushing. 9/21/19 - No signs of nutrient burn. Plan on flushing her tomorrow and adding a fresh set of nutes. This should fix her problem other than that her buds are looking nicer everyday. I sure do love a challenge tho and this guys is truly a challenge 😂😂😬 9/22/19 - Flushed her with ph balanced then added a fresh set of nutes to see if it helps with her final weeks of flowering.

9/23/19 - nothing to do tonight. Buds are fattening and getting frosty. For a bagged seed grow she smells earthy and looks like her frost is developing slower than my other grows. Still cant wait to try her. Leaves look better after the flush and she looks like I might be finally hitting her sweet spot on feeding. Not a difficult grow just challenging. Tomorrow she will get another feed with more nutrients. 9/24/19 - Medium is still wet. Will have to wait another day or so. Maybe water logging? Got insight it may be a nutrient deficient or water logging. Since the PH was correct from my knowledge after the flush and since I have added a fresh set of nutrients HOPEFULLY I can add some great white and finish this grow out. I thought I was already strict enough but I guess I need to be stricter. Live and learn! 9/25/19 - Buds still fattening on this little girl. Noticing more orange hairs each day which is a good sign of ripening coming up. Trichomes showing more on the actual bud each day. Added a little less water this watering and wait until the medium was slightly dryer. Tomorrow gonna let her sit and take some photos. 9/26/19 - No updates 9/27/19 - The girl looks better each day. Gave her fresh nutes and took a picture of one of her buds in the led. 39 days of flowering today. 40F will be tomorrow. Gonna see how long its gonna take her to finish fattening up and ripening. Seeing signs of orange hairs. 9/28/19 - updated cola pic. 9/29/19 - No update. Watering tomorrow.

9/30/19 - ph watering today. Another week or two before I'll know when a good harvest time isn't still not ripe. More growing to come. Going to see how fat she will get. 10/1/19 - colas getting huge. Loving how this small 1 gallon is turning out. Shes really starting to ao some actual bud instead of white pistils. Buds are also ripening. Orange hair lovelies.. 10/3/19 - she got nutrients today and updated pics. Trichomes are a lot more visible on actual bud. Her trick spread however is poor. Regardless, shes looking tasty and I'm close I can feel it. Hair are ripening and 8 weeks is super close. Wont be much longer until flush time. She gives off a earthy pine smell. 10/4/19 - I can tell she fattening up. Next week and a half gonna start using molasses and start slowing down on nutes overall.

Day 44 flowering for this girl. When should I start flushing with organic molasses for harvest? I'm feeling shes got a week or 2 more until I can start flushing for a week or two. So maybe a month left total till harvest? Your thoughts? Also any drying/curing methods?

Hi @Visions! Molasses can be added at any stage of the plant's lifecycle, but most of us add sugars/molasses during the late flowering stage, in order to make the terpenes and the resin production explode. If you're 1 month away from harvest keep on feeding with P+K and slowly add some molasses, starting with small doses. I would recommend to stop molasses intakes a few days before the chop, and finish with RO water or tap water, to ensure a good flush. Now about the drying process, hanging the stems upside down in your grow tent is the easiest way to go! But you need to control your RH (~50%) and have a continuous temp (20-22°C / 68-72°F). Depending on your environment and weather conditions you might need to increase or decrease the relative humidity, you can use a mister (to increase) or a dehumidifier (to decrease), be warned that a good dehumidifier is quite expensive. Be very careful about your drying process, check your buds everyday and don't rush it or you will ruin your final product. Too-long drying on the other hand can lead to mold/bud-rot issues, this is why a daily inspection is more than required. About the trimming, I usually remove only the big fan leaves, and let the sugar leaves around the buds, because they're full of trichomes and will re-cover your buds when drying. This helps in protecting the buds for a long curing (5 to 10 weeks depending on your environment) and gives you more green happiness in the end, but on the other side it's more clorophyl in your smoke. Then, put everything in jars for the curing process (grandma's glass jars are perfect), keep on watching the buds everyday, mold can corrupt and destroy your product very quickly, you just need to open the jars 5mins everyday and move the buds for a close inspection + air freshening. Finally, act as a cooker with its fresh products : try a bit of your product whenever you think it's ready, your smoker's skills will help in setting up the perfect curing process! Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing 👊

10/7/19 - Looked at trichomes. Shes milky and starting to see more amber will be getting another 120x scope Tom. Microlite. So I'll have a closer look and she if shes ready for harvest. So we should only see 2 more weeks if I'm correct. Going to flush with molasses and PhD water for the next week or so if trichomes are what they are. Then go a week of ph water with 2 major flushes and then give her the chop after a 24 hour period of darkness. 10/8/19 - Decided she ready. Her trichomes are perfect. Flushing will commence tomorrow. 10/9/19 - mixed 1 tsp with ph balanced water and flushed her. Going to let the medium dry out and water her then give a final flush. Should be a week from today or near when I harvest. Only reason I'm harvesting slightly earlier with little to no flush(granted 1 to 3 weeks is fine lol) is because I'm in need of bud and this a test for knowledge. Posted pictures of her again. UPDATE* Decided to harvest. Will post harvest week soon once buds are dried. Will give full story, smoke report, my opinions, what I learned, etc. It will be extremely detailed. When I do it. Thank you everyone. Everything for this girl will be updated in a weeks time. 💨

Okay to start off I really want to thank the community and to all the teachers out there(Growmies💪) that love teaching others how to grow. This was my first EVER grow and harvest. I have had no experience on this grow series and have only read, researched, and watched about growing. I decided to get into not only a hobby now but more of a practice you could say because I am simply fascinated by cannabis. This plant, this fucking plant, was a joy and amazing learning experience and such a rewarding experience. I decided to go with a bagged seed as part of my first grow do to the fact it would really help me see the different lifecycles growing at first hand. As a bagged seed everyone knows we don't know what they will end up being(mostly chicks with dicks)👺 and this not only is I believe a hard grow for a novice but especially since you have no idea what actual strain it is, I really just wanted to test my knowledge👍 and learn from it. To begin with growing this fine girl, germinated her and threw her in Mother perlite/coco coir and Fox Farm Ocean soil. I ended up lets say 50/50 ratio and I believe that is what I am going to stick with. I've learned on other grow (BF Phantoms) I am currently growing that I can most definitely pull off starting nutes at week 3 and not to mention I've learned so much from just testing different things from this grow in general since she was ahead of the others in my series. Anyways the grow was pretty basic. Anyways..... Lets get to how the grow was. The Grow: The grow overall being it was my first was a pretty normal grow. I felt like I learned more about when to harvest, what to aim for as in giving light to all the bud sites, strategically defoliating, etc etc. Basic shit we get it. This girl what ever bagged seed she is what a small beast in my opinion. I only has one problem a few weeks after she hit flowering and it was only due to me not giving her enough nutes. I generally gaves he a 1/2 micro, 1/2 gro(early flowering), 1/2 bloom(all weeks), 1 to 1/2 of cal mag, and 1 tsp of Terpinator. I ended up only giving her the flora trio until literally the 3rd/4th week of flowering once I got my other nute lines. Flower Fuel was also a nice flower booster that gets a great mention. I believe this product does what it is supposed to do. She handled really anything towards the beginning to the end of her grow pretty well. I did notice as she grew she developed into a very hairy strain. She is definitely not like the other strains I am currently growing. I do love the appeal because looks can be very deceiving. She looks like a nice piece of bud with a little glitter here and there and not gonna lie not probably the most look worthy to some but to me she looks like a nice bud. She has currently been dried in a cardboard box for 7 days. I dried her 3 days with no trim. After the first 3 days I trimmed them and hung them back up for another 5. She ended up weighing at 22g's in that 1 gal. I was surprised I almost got an ounce from little to no training. I then jarred them with the old humidity pack and a tiny humidistat. The Smoke/High: Remember when I said looks are deceiving? Well yeah I was right. After only 1 day of cure I have to say this is a nice smoke. She smells of skunk, oranges/citrus, and a classic kush smell. As I grinded my first bud she wreaks of sour orange skunky kush if that makes any damn fucking sense. Im high man leave me alone.... As I enjoyed whiffing my first great bud smell, I loaded a nice bowl. Now mind you.... my ass is tired from working 12 hours and it is currently 7:13am now.. So I smoked my first bowl. As dank as she smells ground up, she was NEVER pungent in my tent nor drying. As she's curing however I'm noticed her terps are actually coming out into play. As I evaluated my first smoked she definitely tastes totally different than what she smells which I had to say was more of a natural flower/pine taste. She is very earthy when you get down to the smoke. The High however kicks in pretty much in 5 minutes. The high hits you with a sense of happiness, and energy. Your eyes get really blurry and you can feel the classic dry mouth bullshit come into play, so I started eating ice lmfao.😂 When the full effect of the high fully kicks in however oh boy. I have to say as much as I've smoked and as many strains, this bagged seed was a VERY enjoyable high. You're ;hit with a combination of an even body to mind almost immediately. As the high sets in a few minutes later your mind starts to get cloudy and I tried turning some metal on but I ended up pretty much wearing my headphones with no music playing for 30 minutes.... Just me, sitting in my damn chair with headphones on? lmfao😂 The high ends up taking you on a trip of energy and cloudiness. Your chest and head tingle and I couldn't feel my face at one point. I was actually surprised about the different effects this strain gave me from simply one bowl. It's pretty hard not to smoke another but I think I am going to give her a proper storage and see how she is in the next month or so and see how potent she is then. I mean who doesn't want to NOT feel their face?!😂 The overall effect is pretty nice not gonna lie. She is definitely a 50/50 and it gives you a lot of creativity and now that I think about it I've probably typed a lot of random terrible bullshit but we are all high here right? 😂

you're doing amazingly well , @Visions ! Just one thing is that downwards curling that's from waterlogging because your soil isnt completely dry before you water it, so you've got a slight water mold issue, you can tell from the clawing of the leafs , to fix this you need to ffollow a stricter wet dry cycle and break down the problem roots with a chelation agent such as humic or fluvic acid, enzymes, h202 or beneficial bacteria although these might not take as the bad mold always seems to beat out the good stuff... hope this helps ! 🚀

@Visions, no single formula, the problem is probably from an accumulation over time so "one day without water more from now on until forever" is probably not a great idea, unfortunately is no one rule and the plant might drink more and more or even less near the end of its life, so it really depends... try the lifting pot method to never overwater again. One last thing : very minor problem, for now, so dont sweat it ! www.youtube.com/watch
