It's been a chill 3rd week and from what I can see both plants seem to be growing out nice and fast, with at least 2 more nodes popping up within the week. I feel confident enough to add slightly more silicon as I see good results from the strong stems it's been developing. I will be low stress training sometime in the 4th week if it grows any thicker as I would not want the main stem to thicken from the rapid growth before I start. Temperature and humidity will be a problem now that I will be busy with work, regulating both when i'm not nearby will be an issue so I went ahead and bought a 4" inline fan with an australian virgin charcoal carbon filter, a digital timer for the lights, and an auto climate control humidifier. I have a budget friendly humidifier already but with this one I can set a humidity setting for it to keep it at a certain percentage when i'm not around, around 55-60% will suit the grow well. The fan and carbon filter will be helping with the smell since the plants are now releasing a slight sweet skunky scent throughout the ambience outside the tent prior to installing it, and the temperature will now be regulated as it was hitting a little too high for my taste (about 87° F) the potassium silicate also helps to withstand the fluctuating temps and rH as I planned since I won't be as attentive until pre flowering so resiliency is what i'm aiming until I get the height and spread from the training.
Congrats on the successful harvest. Those are some beautiful buds. Been sitting on a few packs of these but after seeing this I may need to bust them open. Nice work my friend.
Hello my friend I have a question what week did your gelat OG plants start producing trichomes? I’m currently in flower week 4 and I have NO trichromatic production
@Gutismoke102, Hello buddy, sorry i took too long to respond, i'm starting a new grow this year and just logged in after a long time. You should start to get trichome production around that week if not later, if not then I suggest giving your plant more bloom nutrients to speed up flower maturity, best of luck!
@JohnnyLong, thanks for the heads up but theres no option to list a switch to 12/12 as a technique, yet oddly I can list it on a separate week log, so thats what it means..
