if you notice i also risen the plants so the fan on the left doesn't blow directly on the plants with tupperware
this one has been defoliated and is starting to be trained so these 4-5 grow sites can get a chance to spread, I will be leaving it alone other than rearranging leaves and stems
the more "well behaved" plant is growing in height quick but I will top it in a couple days after trimming a couple fan leaves on the bottom

Hey guys it's finally week 5 and lots have happened this past week that include a few upgrades and a couple issues that aren't serious but still put me in a position to make some serious decisions. The one plant that had a head start in growth I mentioned these past weeks has actually been getting way more bushier with bigger and thicker stems/fan leaves that the bottom growth sites had also grown in proportion, so much that it's stems were poking out for more sunlight and I had to fumble and rearrange some leaves so most of them would get as much light as possible. I might even have to switch this plant with the other just so it gets the light it deserves and let it do it's thing because I need it to recover from some slight defoliation I did before I low stress trained it yesterday. I basically removed the bigger fan leaves that weren't getting enough light since the growth sites were now blocking them and further into the week before I trained them I also removed the two other fan leaves that were getting in the way of them as well, leaving only the ones from the top of the plant near the main stem. I haven't topped it yet since I don't want to stress it too much, it seems to show a lot of resiliency from nutrients and even has the run off water reading at a lower pH at about 6.2 so it's drinking and isn't showing signs of slowing down, nevertheless I will be topping it later on, perhaps during the middle of this week after it's recovered.
As for the the other one, this plant has actually been showing a lot of improvement and even might be considered the more behaved phenotype since the other has been growing wild and has actually been receiving more care and attention than this. I might be topping this one sooner than the other just so the other can catch up in height and even train it even more later, the growth sights underneath has been growing slowly due to the lack of light and I even had to trim off a couple fan leaves underneath, leaving the 4 you see now, but I'm deciding whether I should defoliate some more or wait until I top it because either way will put some stress that I'm not sure how the plant will react. I will update on that the next week. I have also bought a self watering irrigation system that will come in handy when these ladies get too bushy and it's working wonders without the hassle of moving and touching these plants too much. All the upgrades from the last week I also mentioned have helped with making the grow medium as comfortable as possible with the exception of the high humidity at night rising up to at least 70 rH, but it doesn't seem to be affecting them since the stems and leaves are so thick from the silicon I added to its feed so it's nothing to worry about. I highly recommend this nutrient to be added to their feed if you have unstable grow environments or just want the possibility of bigger yields due to the bigger intake for the stems, leaves, and roots. Catch ya'll next week!
Congrats on the successful harvest. Those are some beautiful buds. Been sitting on a few packs of these but after seeing this I may need to bust them open. Nice work my friend.
Hello my friend I have a question what week did your gelat OG plants start producing trichomes? I’m currently in flower week 4 and I have NO trichromatic production
@Gutismoke102, Hello buddy, sorry i took too long to respond, i'm starting a new grow this year and just logged in after a long time. You should start to get trichome production around that week if not later, if not then I suggest giving your plant more bloom nutrients to speed up flower maturity, best of luck!
@JohnnyLong, thanks for the heads up but theres no option to list a switch to 12/12 as a technique, yet oddly I can list it on a separate week log, so thats what it means..
