Day 31 - 11/29:
Watered with leftover feeding solution stored in fridge for a few days. Still the low nute/Molasses mix from last week.
The plant is doing well, it was closest to the vent and tent door so it was never cooked under the humidity dome like the two Californian Snow's I have going in my other diary.
Unfortunately the low RH environment cost me a good vegetative base on this plant and the others. Based off the shape of plant and more sativa growth pattern I still think this is going to turn out to be a Californian Snow due to the seeds shifting for the one second I looked away setting up the germination π Especially if you go see the more indica growth of Plant 1 in my Cali diary.
Will have to keep tent sealed and add some humidifying elements for the next round. Won't be able to do an actual humidifier any time soon so feel free to comment with any D.I.Y Humidifiers and Techniques that have worked for you!
Started to LST with soft wire as there was no time or size for FIM or Top. Small Pistils have appeared in the last 48 hours on all plants so it's time to ride these tiny girls out and see what I can do.
Day 35 - 12/3:
Fed last night with gallon of feeding solution split between the LSD-25 and two Californian Snow I have in another diary. (Molasses/Water/.5ml each of PHPerfect M-G-B Kit)
Adjusting the LST with the soft tie a few times daily. Used the spray bottle to give it a plain water feeding today after the top layer dried out and to avoid salt build up.
No sign of nute burn yet compared to my first grow but it's fine 24 hours after upping the nutes so I will keep an eye on it. Dropped the light a few inches closer for a better LED spread too.
Day 36 - 12/4
Fed each plant around 2 cups of feeding solution. Feeding solution listed above at 1 Tsp Molasses/Gallon with .5mL of PH Perfect M-G-B each and split between my LSD-25 and other two Californian Snows.
Should dry out in-time for start of Week 6 in a couple days π

What has worked best for you if you don't have the funds or additional power needs to add a legit humidifier to a grow tent?
Anything along the lines of classic bowl of water/wet towel tricks, small MacGyver style set ups, etc.

hey man, so i did two thing, at the start of my grow i could stay on top of it, and honestly just spraying water and water + kelp up to six times a day helps. once the plants get a bitbigger or you get busier what one of the only things i could really do for my tent was to place a tray of water right by the intake to try and raise the humidity of the air going in the tent. i didnt really find the bowl or water or the hanging humidifiers much help at all. i did absolutely find that a proper mister was worth it - just in case you're on the fence about it. hope this helps growmie ! π

I wouldn't do any topping or fimming on her. She's too small right now and under a bit of stress from low humidity. If she was growing really fast possibly fim her but most smaller autos LST training works better. I would suggest adding a cool mist humidifier to your grow area you need to be in the 60 to 65% humidity range. I recommend getting at least a 1 gallon to 2 gallon humidifier with an electronic humidity sensor. This will become more of an issue if you live in a colder climate when the heat dries out the air faster. She should show you some love by growing more. If the humidity is too low she will close her Stoma under the leaves in an attempt to conserve moisture.This is also where they absorb CO2 needed for photosynthesis. She's still trying to grow a larger root system at this point to deal with the moisture loss through transpiration. Google Leaf Vapor Pressure Deficit. Essentially it's like trying to drink through a straw while biting down on it. When the stoma close moisture nutrients aren't being pulled up through the roots to the branches and leaves as efficiently as it should be.π

@Philindicus, so I OVER cooked two in the humidity domes as pointed out by @Grey_Wolf in my Cali Snow diary. Kept them spritzed and they had a small vent in the top but not enough to last overnight with domes π Will have to add some more vent holes and keep them off overnight.
I have managed to get the overall tent RH up to the 50's range with an actual pour watering in the pots and closing the tent up tight. Have already bounced back considerably in 24 hours!
Time to learn and apply to my next auto grow because I've had low RH overall so I'd say the plants are definitely behind for the timeline I'm seeing on others.

I've been keeping them under water spritzed domes A LOT during the grow so I'd suspect they get a better RH when I have those on. I make sure I'm spraying the soil and domes a lot when they're drying out but I've been taking them off more lately to let them get the gentle fan breeze stem workout, I'd guess that the overall Low RH is why they're so behind. Hopefully my financial situation balances soon so I can start adding to the bare set up I managed to get together before falling on hard times haha
I also haven't started any full pour waterings or feedings and still using spray bottle for a gentle flow but will be changing to small Molasses/Water mix feeds this week. Just don't want to risk an overwater since I went seed to final pot as well.
Thanks for the help! π I'll be keeping the domes on more this week to keep RH up around the plants and let you know how it goes.

@STAYINGONMYMAINCBATORUNTWO, I don't do much but three basic things help!
1.) I actually have some tv/film set black out fabric left over from an old job. I've set it up on my wall/desk for a little percy black out studio area.
- Any colour sheet/fabric etc. works based on what you want/like! π
2.) Make sure you soften/diffuse your external lighting or flash used on an actual DSLR camera. Better yet set some external lighting first and shoot no flash. Any household lamp or flashlight can work. Play with placements, backlighting, shadows!
- All still applies to using Phone Cameras just make sure it's very steady and shoot on burst shot so you can pick the best focus or make GIFS!
3.) Slightly adjust contrast/exposure to fully black out background if original photo background still has texture. Or not, again do what you think is cool π
- Not to change appearance of buds/plant (unless you want to) but to get flat background without magic wand editing in photoshop. Usually very minor adjustments if you set it up.
On my recent diaries I've honestly been using a handheld flashlight wedged in my fingers as I shoot burst shot on my phone π but the final weeks in this diary are all DSLR

Honestly I think your issues are genetics. I've grown this strain twice now (just finished my second run) and very disappointed with the strains yield and with its weird Larry buds. I've been searching for a profile on here that can grow this strain and get buds like are shown in fastbuds ad for it. Needless to say I can't find one! A great smoke and a great high with beautiful colors though!

Though there was a bunch of grower error on this round, it was my first experience with Autos. The Cali Snow I have in my other diary was the same size but way bigger buds, and the 2nd Cali plant (put in same day) is huge and still a couple weeks until it's ready. Got to really dial in the grow environment to give these the best chance. I have 2 more LSD25 seeds so will definitely give it another try soon.

Getting closer and closer to sampling this beauty! Looks like you'll have a tasty treat on your hands! You mentioned the funny bud formation and I had the same thing happening to my love potion. I learned that it's called foxtailing apparently it's a sativa trait, and for my situation, I believe, was caused from the plant stretching too much and getting too close to the light which stressed it out from a combination of heat and too intense lighting.
It looks like your situation would be linked more towards strain traits, since you don't seem to have much heat issues or have it too close to light.
Regardless, it looks like something I'd be happy to be sample! Can't beat the satisfaction of producing your own products! Happy growing

@CrankledLarkus, those are the actual buds π they're so skinny they legit just look like a plant-full of foxtails.
I wish it was legit foxtailing because it means there would be a fatter bud underneath π
Legit that skinny from main stem outwards hahaha
I even clipped the top of the main bud a couple weeks ago to try and get her to thick out on a backbuild but the plant itself seems to have grown such a small base it could only make thin buds that look like Strawberry Pocky Sticks π Can't wait to put an entire bud into a rolling paper and just slide out the stem for perfect on-the-go snack.

I had some auto buds turn out all crazy dr. Grinspoon style as well on me. I'm less and less impressed with autos everytime I grow them. I love the idea of them. To unpredictable and unstable for my grow set up. I've yet to get a fastbuds or a mephisto brand yet but I'm not willing to risk the investment. You did a great job on your journal and the colors you achieved on those buds is stellar. π

This is what saved me from making shit buds here in my dry climate.
Cut, hang, optional air filter in closet on low, set to Humidistat linked below 40%, then next day or two 55% then wait until outside is dry and jar, for my last auto took me 4 days in closet cause i had heat on for nights probably but u feel it.
