I’m new to this platform. It seems like when you post a harvest that’s it. I cut her down last night but, don’t like ending it there. I will at least trim the sugars off and have it ready to be jarred before I end it! I don’t flush or do any dark period. If she’s ready, I chop her.
Let this be a lesson to those who stress their plants in flower, for good and bad.
I honestly thought some really bad things were going to happen but, in the end, all that happened was she matured really early. Pretty much shut down shop and started ripening. I did lose yield, that is without a doubt. To those who haven’t been following, I stressed her way too hard with a fan. Wind-burn would be the most accurate term.
I promised good news! I chopped her last night. Almost 24 hours ago. I sent these same posted pics to Spliff, just to share their magick with them. This was right after removing the fans so I could get these better pics. My fingers were literally sticking to the phone while I was typing. Did the stress create more potency? Obviously, she time will tell.
The polyploid: This branch was interesting. I had to harvest this branch only, a little early. It really ripened before the rest of the plant. As can be expected, the branch is much fuller than the rest. We all know how the flowers grow towards the light when we only have one. They are heavier on one side than the other... and drying to cure! This is the flower with a black background in my pics.
All in all, I would say this strain is very forgiving. She punished me for my abuse by flowering early and rapidly but, still left me with many viable flowers.
Her tent mate... Search my Amnesiac diary for that gluttonous pig! She is really enjoying the bed all to herself!
See you next entry. In the harvest section!
