2/24:
Busy day, no time for gardening..
2/25:
I watered them today with about a half-gallon each including terpinator, signal, bembe, cal-mag, armor si, beastie bloomz, and a little bit of boomerang for the organic forms of nitrogen (kelp and earthworm castings).
2/26:
RH is holding at 40-45% during the day and 35-38% at night. Temps are about 78-80f during the day and about 62-65f at night. The smaller one is fattening up well now, but the tall one is just getting started.
2/27:
The garden has gotten so dense that the cool air at the bottom isn't circulating up to the canopy well enough. Temperatures on the floor are low 60'sf and about 80f at the canopy. That's not bad or anything, but over the next couple of weeks, I want to drive down the temperatures as much as possible. I'm achieving 30% RH now, two days after watering...pretty cool. I can't check the moisture level on the plants at the back of the garden without removing a bunch of others, but I'm assuming they aren't dry yet because of the airflow situation. I ordered a double 9" fan like you put in a window to circulate in or out fresh air. I'll put it under the bench that I'm using to elevate the two shortest plants at the back of the closet, facing the front of the closet and pointing slightly upwards. Hopefully this increases airflow across the pots, and moves more of the cool air up to the canopy.
2/28:
The new fan came in and was taller than I thought when situated in it's feet, so I just placed it atop my lighting frame facing down into the back of the garden. Each of it's two fans are mostly unobstructed, and the little bit that is obstructed is across two of the heatsinks, so that's fine with me. I'll have to find a diff fan for under the shortie platform.
2/29:
I fed everybody today with about a half-gallon each including a little grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, beastie bloomz, terpinator, bembe, signal, cal-mag, and armor si.
3/1:
Just ogled them today...they are really reeking now...👍
The shortie is sexy as hell..even with her twisted foliage...getting fat and frosty. The tall one will have some 12 inch colas...some day...😏
@Silverback_Guerilla, so many phenos sometimes. i did an lsd25 and found it could be 1 of 9 possible phenos.lol never can guarantee we get a good one either. I had a hulkberry that was the crap pheno too. hated it the whole grow , dumped it i a tub once dry and was going to Hash it all. i smoked some and nearly fell over.lol some of the dankest bud ever.lol looks can be deceiving. good luck for a brilliant ending on them,
@Ganjagrandaddy, Thanks! It's a bit of a grab-bag with the #1's..as you can see from my diary I had one 2-footer and one 4-footer..makes for a very challenging situation. The shorter phenotype is pretty quick flowering. The taller pheno is very slow to flower, but she'll have some massive buds...eventually. My short one has had twisted and down-curled leaves since I started flowering, but it seems to be genetic. Delightfully dank aroma coming from her...
Some beautiful looking buds in there. Spectacular work. Keep doing whatever you have been doing and may the ganja garden gods bless you with good fortunes till the end.
@Silverback_Guerilla, the end is a true test of patience. Mind always starts looking to the next lady and it gets harder and harder. But in the end it's all worth it.
@GRow_M8s, Thanks man!
This whole grow is actually "fast-flowering" photoperiod varieties. I'm just getting away with 10 hours of darkness by exploiting the Emerson Effect with spectral triggers.
@Doktorholland, Yes. They are introducing "Fast Flowering Photoperiod" varieties soon, and the "FFT" diaries are by growers who are testing them for FastBuds.
@Fast_Buds, It ain't over yet...I have 4 healthy clones of this strain that are starting to flower now!
It is a truly delicious variety!
Thanks so much for the opportunity to grow them!
