HSO Chocolate Mint OG 1st Photoperiod

PotCasso So this is my 1st photoperiod grow! I’m really excited for this grow. The plan is to mainline theses beautiful girls for 8 tops. I’m doing this in an 80cm by 80cm tent. I’m also going to attempt to clone the tops that are removed during training.

PotCasso Everything is going really smoothly the girls are starting to grow with some vigour more week in the small pots before the transplant.

PotCasso Holy shit I hope this mainlining works! That was easily the most nerve wracking thing I’ve ever done with a plant. 🤞

PotCasso The girls seem to be bouncing back they have now been topped 2x. It feels like they a being kept at day 21 as far as feeding goes 250ml every 48hrs.

PotCasso Topped 3x ✅ So the scary part is over. From my first top I was able to clone 1 top and 1 bottom from both plants 3 of the 4 clones look like they’re surviving.

PotCasso Everything is growing along smoothly. All topping is now complete.

PotCasso They are finally recovered fully from the training and are starting to gain more vigour by the day.

PotCasso The girls are starting to grow vertically. 8 flower sites. There is a pic of the clones in the mix. I feel like the training has slowed growth 🤞a bit of vigour I think the last 2 weeks before the flip. Just waiting on the autos to finish up.

PotCasso All the hard work is done, so now we wait.

PotCasso All set to flip to flower 12/12.

PotCasso Not sure what do you expect as this is my first photo period run. I can’t wait to use green sensation in week three and really watch these girls take off. I’m planing a big defoliation for the end of the week. The clones have far surpassed their mainlined mothers.

PotCasso The girls bounced right back from the week one defoliation. The stretch is on and I’m interested to see if the training paid off. As for the clones, killing it, I don’t think I can part with them.

PotCasso Week 3 of flower and the trichomes are already abundant. I added the Green Sensation this week it is by far my favourite additive, so it’s on like donkey kong now. These girls are just developing beautifully I can’t wait to see how they develop over the next few weeks.

PotCasso Week 8 of flower. Let the flush begin. These girls are just gorgeous, just enjoying watching them senescence waiting for the reveal of the carotenoids 🤞

PotCasso Week 9 of Flower The flush continues. Beautiful shades of purple and noticeable sharpening of the terpene profile. Trichomes have about 10% amber. Going to let these girls go a few more day.

PotCasso Darkness. It was a short week I place the girls into darkness on Day 66 of flower. Thoroughly impressed with these girls and their frost rails...

PotCasso I don’t even know where to start. Thank you HSO for such solid genetics. This grow has by far taught me more than any previous. Full of many first: 1st photoperiod grow 1st top 1st FIM 1st Supercrop 1st Mainline “nug bucket” 1st Clone These girls took it in their stride. Smells that they put out throughout the grow well intoxicating, the structure of the plants beautiful and the final product with enough stopping power to impress that friend that doesn’t get “stoned” This strain is definitely becoming a staple in my garden.
