In the first photo you can see this little beauty germinated, and ready to be transplanted. The second photo was taken 3 days after transplant and shows the moment the seedling broke the surface of the medium. My germination method was to first soak the seed in a jar of water until it sank. I then transfered it to a paper towl. Once the root was 1/8'' long, which happened by day two, I transfered to my hydroton medium. After three days above the medium surface I figures the seedling wasnt going to shack its seed husk itself so I helped it out. Afterward its leaves fanned out nicely. My was pH quite high at this point, 8.1! as I was waiting on my pH Up and Down to arrive. I had also been keeping my reservoir water level half way up the net basket which iv since been told can drown the roots. After another day of my pH up and down not arriving I went to my local hydropoic store and grabbed some pH down. I did a complete reservoir change, pH balanced to 5.8, ppm 400 and brought the water level down to just bellow the net backet. On seedling day 4 I lowered the light to try and provide optimal light conditions. As they say more is not always better πŸ˜–. By day 6 it was obvious my seedling was not happy. Either the change in pH, light conditions, or both were causing distress and yellowing. I asked around for advice and it was also suggested that my seedling may be starving due to the water level decrease. I checked my pH and ppm. The pH was 5.8 but ppm was 500. I took out some reservoir solution and added straight 5.8 pH balanced water. I brought the ppm down to 380. I also raised the light back up to its original position. I also did a top feed of reservoir solution and a foliar feed of 200 ppm solution. I then turned off the lights for 6 hours. Up till this point my light schedules been 24/0. As far as I can tell from day 7 the progression of the yellowing has stopped. My ppm however was back to 500 so I removed more reservoir solution an replaced with pH balanced water. I have a feeling my pH down is increasing my ppm. Im hoping that it doesnt cause me to lower my ppm to the point of accidentally starving my plant. In the following weeks I will be starting a dark period cycle by starting with 23.5/0.5 and increasing the lights off period by a half hour until im at 18/6. Thanks for following. This is my first grow and tips are greatly appreciated.

Should I increase my nutes? Iv gone through a lot of DWC journals on here that used GH and the ones that look the healthiest are using around 7 tsp/gallon at this stage. I keep getting such conflicting information.

Getting very frustrated with these speckles. Iv tried decreasing Cal Mend and B-52. Improving air flow. Cleaning the tent head to toe and the res. Iv tried using UC roots. Im really not sure what's going on and IDK what to try to fix it. Grow was going so well. This sucks.

Thats calcium Trip Add cal-meg either foliar or to the feed, I would start with foliar just because its easy and doesnt mess with your nuets. Otherwise half dose of calmag to start. msg if you like

Much of what you do now is personal preference. It’s hard the first few times when our don’t have your own style yet but over time you’ll learn. But some general rules is no more topping or fiming. You can lst early but lst late can get hard as the branches stiffen up and doesn’t provide much real value late. Many, myself included like to trim up the bottom. It generally produces lower quality bud, takes attention away from quality buds, and blocks air flow. Many also do some defoliation on top. I personally like to remove any fan leaves that are blocking bud sites below. Don’t over do it. I never like to remove more than 15% of vegetation in a week because you don’t want to stunt it this late. The clock is ticking now. Hope this help.

Are my main colas to close together? I want to make sure that all the bud sites are getting enough light but my colas ar quiet densely packed so im not sure if there's enough light penetration.

Don't worry about density yet. The main cola bud sites with shoot up vertically, separating them selves from the others. You can then tell where to trim depending on what other buds/sites you want to maximize.

Hi @TripleCcannabis it seems to be 2 weeks to start the flush for another 2 weeks until the harvest. The plant is ready for harvest when the trichomes in general are all milky (90%) a few amber, you still see many transparent trichomes, it should be about 3-4 weeks until the right point of the harvest. good luck mate πŸ‘

Well, you asked and you get an answer^^... Ok to me the plants dont look ready at all. The leaves are totally green, pistils are white, and iam sure the buds getting bigger if you wait longer. For flushing.: Iam not recommending flushing. Its a very hard to erase myth. leftovers of nutrients will be Broken down while you cure. I only flush if i have an excess or bigger problems that need a flush. I water my Plants near the end with Huminacid and then I go on feeding with Molasses and a High Pk product. Greetings

@TripleCcannabis, yes the trichomes should all be milky. On every part of the Plant. You are vry close to harvest but i think you may have to wait alittle longer.....55-.65 days says the Breeder. I just judge what i see... and to me shoe dont look ready. But you are closer to the Plants and your judgement counts https://www.growweedeasy.com/ready-for-harvest-pictures

@TripleCcannabis, Wonderful your right on track I'd say.. To start a first topping at any point really. It's looking good and that nice foliage you won't shock her at all. Topping can be very fun.. I love the crazy shapes the plants can take on. Happy Topping :) Oh and on a side note.. once the secondary" under nodes" start really developing on the plant In my opinion she's ready for topping. If healthy of course :)

It's a matter of prefference. Many smaller colas or a few bigger ones.

@TripleCcannabis, see how the leaves are packed 1 on top of the other? That will promote wet spots and high humidity, Try to take a few of the lower ones out.

Seedlings don't need nutrients... This is what I think it is... They really need nothing for the first week and for the second week for you I'd consider using 1/4(what is says on the bottle) or less.. If your ratio of 1.6 ml to 1 Litre is indeed correct that is way to heavy with seedlings... I hope this helps... I know it's your first grow.. I'm very comfortable with hydroponics if you have any more questions/concerns please ask me...

Hi dude, great pictures! You may use White vinager to lower ph without any problem... take care not to put to much, some drops in a liter is enough! I do suggest you to mix and test, then wait half an hour and test again to see if it stabilized... If you want to raise it you may use garden lime that is a strong alkaline and also is the best source of Calcium and magnesium. It's the "secret" that the nute company don't want anyone to know. Wish you a great grow!! Have a Shroom! 11!!!!11! πŸ˜΅πŸ™Œ

Hello Great work looking lovely. Here is a link to an article/test they did on flushing Cannabis.. Flushing Cannabis is stoner science nonsense. Read the study great study also shows you minerals/nutrients are transportable by the plant... Not all nutrients and minerals move around cannabis like you think they would. And higher Iron concentrations are tested in Flushed Cannabis. Anyway it's a great read. Much more scientific then "My buddy grew some weed and he didn't flush and it was soo bad". https://www.rxgreentechnologies.com/rxgt_trials/flushing-trial/

Enjoy your ladies growing move a leaf if its covering a bud remove it when you remove watch the light move down into the plant see the next leaf light up does it shade a bud? looks like there is plenty that could be taken off from the bottom as well

Perhaps try using a softer material next time.. Pipe cleaners work great and so does string. I find it's best to like gently move the plant down an inch past where I want it then I gently use the string to place it into position. So we aren't doing the bending with the Tie downs. Bending before hand and then using the tie downs to make them stay in place. I hope this helps.

Use the Schedule, it's a good one... I did not run into problems until I started adding Supplements(Thanks advanced nutrients lol). I know I'm giving you a lot of information, but I'm a super speed typer :). I'm honestly just trying to help you... I found it tricky and daunting at first to grow hydroponics, there is a huge amount of cannabis growing information out there and your right you get Conflicting information. you don't have to listen to me. In fact I'd say get as much information as you possibly can even if it can conflicted and confusing at times.... I wrote my own grow journal when I first started.. Find your own path and what works in your environment.. What works for me may not 100% work for you..
