hello again guys and welcome to my auto zkittlez grow by seedsman, as I've mentioned on my last grow, I had to cut the grow somewhat short during flower and yield wasn't so great so I decided to do another one in my new place with enough space for better airflow and fitting all the equipment inside the grow tent since i'm only doing one plant in a bigger pot with autoflower since living here is going to be temporary. I am estimating this grow to be done within 2-3 months and drying might or might not take place somewhere else. For now, lets get started.
This seedling took about 3-5 days to germinate from leaving it in water for a day and the rest waiting for it to grow a taproot until I was able to transfer it to an ounce plastic cup with holes on the bottom. Where the grow is now is about 7 days old before I will transplant into coco coir which is enough time to be ready for nutrients, so I will be starting week one at this point. There are a few changes to the tent like the tank reservoir inside the tent with the same irrigation system I used in the last grow except im using a single ring to a single plant. I personally make the holes on the ring surrounding the plant and although tedious, it ensures me the medium gets evenly soaked, and will help when the plant gets too bushy and hard to see under the canopy. I've also changed the light yet again to something more quieter and energy efficient with a Spider Farms SF1000 running at around 100w but claims to be as efficient as a 1000w LED blue/purple grow light, but I feel like it's putting out a real full spectrum (also claims to be running a par value of 250.43umol/S)and to add it is VERY bright which is more than enough for this small grow. It barely exhausts any heat since the tents temps stayed at or below 78 degrees and has no fan so surprisingly this light makes for a great stealthy piece of equipment. I will be using this light from veg to harvest which I believe will give me a clearer grow to spot deficiencies easier with bigger yields according to other grows. I will be posting photos next week of the new setup as well as how the plant is coming along after it's first nute feeding and hope to see you guys follow me for the next few months! cheers
Nice work on the journal. I plan on running this strain for my next grow so watching your success thus far has been informative. I looking forward to seeing your harvest! Good luck and stay healthy!
