Day 28: Welcome to week 5 start , the ladies are killing it in the house !!!!. These strains are amazing growers all round. While building the framework for their flowering period they responded well and agreed to stay put with a bit of tying down and supercropping. Since that point and flipping to flower , they set off sending every possible budlet to the canopy top. I felt bad stripping so many hopefuls out and reduced their numbers quite a bit all round. The remaining buds are the most stacked and lonely to be worthy of drying.
FFT#1 Looked a little sparse after her strip with not too many mains to show for her age but the last few days have changed my concerns as she has put it all into the others rapidly. Bud stacking is nice and close but I have left some of the skinny stacks on the outer edge to fill out too.She needs the help !.
FFT#5 is showing #1 how to force your way into the best position !!!. It is a nice sized plant for a limited height grow room. The training of these is a must if your per plant yield is to be achieved in my opinion. She has responded perfectly to the lst and bending and her lower framework has produced a lot of very workable mains.
FFT#7 Still continues to be the biggest in the house and is looking very tightly stacked. Like #5 , she has some chunky little buds to create baseball bat colas. The main stem at the soil is so thick and bulbous now that I will need a chainsaw for harvesting. They are all producing frost and oil when rubbed a little and there are distinctive smells between them that are familiar and range from fruity to sour ish diesels. Seeing their size now with another possible 4weeks to go at least , 2 of which will be bud swelling weeks , fills me with hope of a great harvest from these winning genetics . I will be a buyer of these strains when released without a doubt. Roll on the other 9 to try out.
Until next week , stay safe and sane , enjoy the family/Home time.
@Ganjagrandaddy,
I think it could be a good 10 week grow in hydro/coco, ours were ready to flip before week 4 we just didnt have the Flowering space to do so at the time.
@rhodes68, Thanks . I gave then so long in veg so a few weeks more if needed will be worth it think. The #7 has a lot of sativa traits to her by her growth and look too. I want to try a strict trichrome ,30% amber within the Bud to see if I can girls the "golden zone" . impatience usually has me accepting far less usually.lol
Thanks for the info . always helpful with these unknowns atm. good luck
Great looking crop! You're gonna love the #1's flavors once cured....sooo tasty!
I'm trying the #5 and #7 right now...along with four #1 clones (i really like this strain) and some more #6's
THANKS AGAIN FASTBUDS!!!
But...I sure am getting tired of referring to my weed by numbers...name them already!!!
@Silverback_Guerilla,thanks mate. With you on the namings too. Hard to work them out too. #1smells like pineapple so strongly 5 is fruity sweet and 7 is similar but a slight diesel edge. I am past their dates for flower now and they are still going strong. The ff5 and 7 are easily throwing the pistils out still at day 61 of flowering. No signs of a ripen yet at all just swelling the buds more. Will go with them until they have to come out by the 8th June. I cant imagine that they will go that long but I want to see what they can really do when pushed. I still have 9 strains to try and hope names are out soon so I have a clue this next run.lol
Greetings from Russia! Your plants look great! Keep developing in the same spirit! If you are interested in following the adventures of weed in Russia, subscribe to my diary
@RussianGrower,hi brother from russia , good to see how far the grow diaries journals can reach too. often wondered how your country dealt with this area. never a believer of media hype or govt propaganda but did think risk would be too great to grow. I will happily join you .
I have only grown FF7 in your set.
After initial stretch, she stacked really fast and really dense.
9 weeks vegging! They are going to be big. Great.
I had mold issue with FF7 after about 4 weeks into flower. Really dense, Northen Light fashion.
My mold issue was controlled with anti-mold microbe. Just giving you a head up.
Cheers,
Congratulations on the new baby. She looks good at first. Choose a good variety. Pour a treat. Keep doing what you are doing and have the growing ganja gods protect your women until the growth is complete.
As always lovely looking lady. Truly beautiful canopy. Amazing work. Keep it up and may the ganja garden gods bless you with good fortunes the rest of the way.
@Denzul,will be soon enough. wait till we getvreleaded. They will all be held accountable for their attempt at NWO control. thankfully their dying breaths now.
@OutForReal,Thank you. find it easier than typing and single picture uploads too. love the app and how it helps us all as a community too.
The FFT 7 has been the leader of the three from popping the seed. Def a sativa look to her and she could go very tall too if not held down. Would be a great outdoor grower or big scrog net grow. Good luck. let me know when you pop .
