Feels good to be going back to photoperiods again. I did plant 4 strains but sadly 2 white critical seeds failed to grow past cotyledons so its these three representing their breeder. I do love Gorilla strains so getting a GG#4 was a must , wedding cake looks lush in pics and needed doing too. The final one sounded a must have , Black ghost Og. These will be put into my ancient nft system when they fill out there hugo cubes. They will also be under a Mars TSL-2000 ( 300w draw) for their whole cycle. I am going to be feeding them with Mega Crop for the whole grow too with additional silica and calmag on a 1-1-1 ratio.
let's hope I can harvest my current crop this week to get these in to the nft tanks.
Nothing much to repirt on Thisbweek besides the girls all being fed with MC. Seen a few yellowing leaves where they are starting to cannibalize so I decided it was time to get them moving with feeds.
They are just about hitting the 4th nodes so hopefully I can start gentle training soon.
A steady week with a little growth but certainly settling in. They need some roots poking through these big cubes to be able to hit the nft tank so I am hoping to see some of that over the next week. The gg#4 is a happy camper and hopefully will hit her 5th node for lst to get underway. The ghost og is still showing her midget status and will probably be the runt judging by her beginning. Wedding cake is colouring up now and the mc is beginning to give them that nice solent green.
Well another very slow week for the ladies. They need to go into the nft to take off but I need some more rootball in those hugo cubes first. I managed to top them all at the 5th and stripped the 1st and second nodes out too on the wedding cake and the gg#4. The ghost is too small to touch so far !!!. Feeding the cubes by hand is a bad start I think but they will catch up once they get into the tanks. Hopefully over the next few days they will be ready to hit the ground running.
At the 5 week point we are still a way off what they should be due to their waiting for me to get them settled but today they look good and better than they have all week. The megacrop is working the magic now and I am getting them into their NFT later today so I expect them to fly.
Week 6 . These ladies have certainly got with it this week and all been busy root building. They have all hit the bottoms with ice thick roots , ready for all that food coming. The Gorilla Glue#4 has been pushing so many new growth tips it will be sad to strip them out again
Wedding cake is similar with a lot of height gains ( but encouraged to stay low again with some stem bending and bruising/crushing. This should make it easier to bend them once in the nft trays. her growth tips are numerous now too.
Ghost of is another matter altogether, she has been struggling to catch up and now has at least drawn level with a recent newer growing. I have ow stripped it back to the 3rs and 4th node but oddly there were no real paired nodes. She seems to be growing more like a clone at this point???.
I know once they hit the nft pace they will fly so I am hoping to flip them at about week 8 so I can keep them managable during their stretch.

approx day 50: Another week of veg and settling in to the NFT tanks for the girls this week. I am happy with their progress with adjusting to constant feeds and there are no signs of being over fed, burnt, starved etc... GG# has shown the best growth followed still by the Wedding cake then a way behind the Ghost Og. I have given them a slight strip out of any tips I know wont make it to the canopy. They look a lot less clustered now so the light could hit the every strong growth site. lets see how another week does them
A good week for growth and root building below decks . I had planned to veg for another couple of weeks but I think i may have to flip sooner. With a likely 100% stretch to come and the size of some of the other plants in the room ,
Wedding cake is nice and bushy following her training and strip out. She still looks a little small on her stems thickness but that could change following a stretch.
Ghost o.g is a strange lady. she has been slower since breaking ground and shows no signs it changing her pace. Her leaves are very fat and quite thick too. Stem wise there will be no bending as they are so close to the stem.she was topped but a thick main will still be her contribution I think.
GG#4 is way ahead in her height with wider node spacing though so I expect in Gorilla fashion , she will need some support in late flower. I am still on the 1st res with them and plan to keep adding additional water and not empty the res at all. Sunday mat be flip time if they keep growing as they have this week.

Flip day 4: I have not diaries as flowering yet as they are not yet showing heads. I consider this transition period to be full veg and get a more accurate timing for flowering. once they show
I will be flowering.
All three have been responding well to their switch.
Wedding Cake is a chunky and good sized girl now and after stretch should be my perfect grow size to room size. She will be a heavy budding girls by the look of her stems at this point. nodes are stacked closely so will stay sticky too.
Black ghost. o.g has thankfully woke up a little more now she realises winter is coming and she needs some cock !!!. lol She has thickened intensely below the canopy and does have some very strong looking side branching fighting through too. Her leaves are very indica thick and dwarf her GG#4 neighbours. I can see her as a finished girl and i think she will surprise me with yield too.
Gorilla Glue #4 is growing in expected and classic "skinny minney" style with her ebony looking branching and svelte appearance. She ain't fooling me as she is creeping up in size and height. The leaf colour is a little bit "veiny" but let's see how she stretches. I expect big things from this sneaky lady too.
They are a credit to Original sensible seeds and so far a very responsive group.

It is officially time to admit they are women now !.... Seeing all the little white pistils and the "starfish" look to the tops shows hope.
They have been spreading out nicely This week with even the Ghost OG gaining more vertical and lateral growth. There are easily defined differences already between these 3 ladies and having the variety to train together is always a challenge. I am hoping the Ghost can fill put in the next bit of stretch to get her canopy level with the others. The wedding cake is Thickening and growing daily so well now. She shows no signs of slowing yet either so I think she will dominate this NGT tray if not kept under manners !!. GG#4 is setting herself up nicely for some fruit bearing and I look at her skinny arms and wonder how thehell this strain can hold such dense buds without a total collapse but know from experience they can too. With these ladies being the last to officially become women , we are now in a full flowering room. Roll on harvest time in a out 8 weeks for these girlies now. stripping out at day 21 will help fix the final buds.
Day 16: These ladies are now nearly.at the end of their stretch I think. They are all forming decent looking flowers now and have sent a few mains skyward to mark their territory
Wedding cake is an impressive girl . She is full of mains to develop and also has a lot of secondaries below decks on each of her main 4-way branches. She has trained out fairly well and is holding her shape well. Flowers are looking as they should and plentiful too. Her stems are nice and strong for the upcoming beast she will become.
Ghost O.g is still an odd looking girl but is fighting for some good mains to be in the running now. she hasnt stretched too much in general but her lowers have certainly entered the race. She is a very chunky classy too.
GG#4 has begun to get over my drowning of her roots with too high water levels in the tank. She hasnt held back too much really as she is the tallest of her group. In typical Gorilla strain style she still has skinny limbs but a few good heads forming flowers too now. Overall , things are doing ok and my error has given them a hurdle to overcome . Day 21: A great week for these girls considering my nearly drowning them with a high res !!!. Aside my errors and the recovery , all been good.
Wedding Cake has had an excellent stretch period giving her a really nice size to flower with. She didn't blink with the over filling as she was the top end and didn't suffer . Buds are forming up really nice on her all over and below the main canopy is just as full. She will get so.e lower small growth removed for air movement but as she is happy and vibrant I dont want to upset her now. lol
The Ghost O.g did suffer a little with her main growing size but has put out some very tangible mains now. She has so.e very big fan leaves on her too.
Gorilla Glue#4 had the worst of the drowning and her leaves are showing the signs of damage now. She is a good size and typically GG but I think recovery has slowed her down a little. Overall I am happy with their survival in such a hostile situation. good genetics . Be sane and safe Growmies.
Day 28: Having sorted the over filling issue of the res and now the roots of GG#4 and ghost can breath again !, we have had a good progression this week.
Wedding cake is covered with buds after the strip out of her larf and popcorn finally. I scrapped a lot of small budlets in the process but she has rewarded me with some great bud building for it. She is beginning to smell a little now and has a sweet smell to her. Nice and sticky feel to her leaves now too.
Black Ghost OG is up for it now with some nice bud forming this week . her fat stems could hold a good sized bud so hopefully she will use it.
Gorilla Glue#4 has been a must grow for a long time fornme but I have gotten sidetracked with lots of variety and done strains with it in their somewhere. I am now so stoked to have an original GG#4 to test against the cousins , distant cousins and cousins twice removed. !!!. She is growing so well now and getting g a nice colour back into her leaves. She is covered in tall trichrome build up on her sugar leaves already amd had me trying to focus my camera as it looked out of focus due to them !!!!.She is turning into the lady i so wanted an evening with all that time. Overall a great week for sertingnher stacking nodes for the final 5 weeks fattening and swelling.

Day 35: The weeks seem to be flashing past now we have some buds to admire.
Wedding Cake is storming the field in this tank and without doubt the leader of the pack. She feeds really well and shows no sign of slowing down at all. she is beginning to give of a really nice biscuit smell up close and touched and her sticky buds are certainly pushing oils out. She has a good deal of space to keep growing out and up into so heres to a 5-tier wedding cake at harvest.
Black Ghost O.G is certainly a tryer and is putting some very frosty trichs and pistils out now to make up for her lack of size. I dont think it is an impressive grower but i dont doubt the hit that she will give from the building up of these trichs .
Gorilla Glue#4 is being a typical GG#4 I am happy to say. she is falling under her oily buds weight on her skinny limbs and need a pinochio conversion to keep her upright so i got bits with the yo-yo's to keep her up. She smells so nice when touched but is so sticky she doesnt want to let go !. Now that her roots are not submerged entirely , her leaf colour has come back to a beautiful green again. She has a fairly decent size but I think quality over quantity will be a mantra I use for her yield. .

Day 42/56+: A very good week for all the ladies this week.
Fully recovered from her sodden roots the GG#4 has bounced back nicely. She looks so beautiful as a plant that the yo,yo's around her are an eyesore now.lol Her classic GG#4 look is bang on to what I expected this strain to be like and I am loving it.She smells so pungent of a lemony , sweet ,dirt kind of aroma. This is the one strain I have wanted to grow for a long time and have somehow always been sidestepped . Now original sensible seeds have put this girl back out in style. my wish has come true and here she sits waiting to fulfill a dream for me. sounds crazy even reading g this back but it gripped me when a friend gave me a nug to play with some time ago. I have grown derivatives and hybrids of her but now have the real deal right here. The tackyness when rolling a joint with this strain is second to none as it crumbles too.
Black Ghost O.g is another absolute hash makers dream. Her colas are so covered in trichs that any close up pictures look like the focus is broke on my camera. so fuzzy with it and really solid to touch too. She isn't huge but like her opposite , being in the middle of larger plants has a price. She smells so pungent too up close with a stickiness that get annoying after soap won't even touch it and I can't hold paper for a while. lol
Wedding cake has by far been the easiest and most productive of these ladies. She has took the food with no issues or tip burn too. This strain would be a very good strain for a first time grower too. A little training and she recovers and responds very quickly. Her general size and willingness to spread herself wider , shows how well she would take to any training g that you threw at her too. so much good secondary growth for a very nice scrog or a multi topped bush . For my needs and room limits she has been topped once and then her lower nodes , 1and 2 taken out to leave the 3rd and 4th nodes to train out more sideways. She has still responded to this with lots of the would-be popcorn hitting the canopy along with her mains once allowed vertical. This has given a very good sized canopy and overall plant footprint for her to build this great looking girl.. Buds are so frosty now and have a real gritty look more like icing sugar. They are so hard to squeeze and bounce back nicely when I try. Very impressed with her.
another 3 weeks and I get to hopefully sample the first of these girls.
Day 49 : THE END IS NIGH !!!!!
Just thought a different start to the journal would be a welcome break.
Wedding cake is looking huge now in both size and bud lengths. By far the biggest of the sensible ladies and is covered in a really dusty, sugary coating just like icing sugar. Her buds are nice and hard when squeezed with a nice healthy bounce to them. If she goes another 2 weeks , the potential for her size is going to make her a very good yield for a first time out. She has swamped the poor Black ghost og next to her now, leaving the poor ghost with nearly no manoeuvring room at all.
Black ghost o.g is fighting on and producing a decent few mains but her slow start has handicapped her no end. The trichs and appeal are worth it alone at the moment with her as she is so sticky and smelly. Her buds are stacking really well now but she needs more light in the lower parts to prosper.
GG#4 is such a perfect example of the strain still and just gets more dangerous looking each week. frosty and pointy like a nettle , warning g of her potency. I took a small lower branch to sample her a few days ago. and even rush dried it hit like a mule. The harvest of these ladies will bring me many hazy days I think.
DAY 56 SINCE FLIP:These girls are really trying to impress now they are so close the finish line. Theyballnhave their own unique look and smell and will be a very welcome addition to the stash box.
Wedding cake is an top buddingnbeasty of a lady with some sweet , biscuit smelling and looking trichromes covering her swelling buds. She has burst open with a so many new pistils in the last 2 days that have given her main canopy a great appeal now. Each main has doubled in girth due to this and I think at least another full week for her is in order.
Black Ghost O.g has pushed and pushed to get herself noticed with success. Her few buds at the surface are sweet ish smelling with a hint of a spice too. The lower parts are way too light starved to have been developed well but this was due to their poor start. Still pushing trichromes onto.the covered surfaces. She sont yield high but her smoke will.make up for it I feel.
Gorilla Glue #4 is my secret favourite. She is so dusty withbtrichs and looks dangerous up close. She is clumped together from her needing so much support and I keep finding random arms on the lower portion of the plant that need bringing up again. She feels so tacky to touch and has a potent sweetness mixed with a spicey tang. I think she will be coming out any day now.

DAY 132 FROM SEED: We have reached an end to a really enjoyable grow of these strains.
The wedding cake had the biggest size overall but the GG#4 and Black Ghost are frost covered monsters. I have had them in pitch black for the past 72 hours to see if if pushes them to swamp in trichs. They are also partially drying in place with no fluids and a really controlled humidity. To say they have been in the dark for so long, they still look like they could carry on going. The buds are doing great and feel solid now. I will be taking them out tomorrow night for a wet trim.
DAY 134 UPDATE:The girls are mow out and trimmed drying. I will leave them for about a week before I harvest properly.
They are feeling so sticky now too. Trimming was a night.are on the GG#4 as she is sticky as hell. She smells and looks great up close now too. Wedding g cake has so d nice solid heavy buds on her and smells sweet like cookies and fruit still. Ghost is not a great yield and I wish she had been a better starting girl. She feels nice and tacky with solid nugs at the top but her lowers are very leafy from lack of light. Let's see how they finish.
beautiful sized buds that could have gone another week if I hadn't had to harvest. They are a good size with great node spacing that has created nice stacking. They did burst with a second pistil run that swelled them out brilliantly. The flavour is very cookie sweet with a nice candy hint in there too.
This strain was an easy one to get on with. Infeel she would be a big plant given space and natural sunlight. I have enjoyed working this plant and found it to be an excellent grower. Nice work Original Sensible Seed co.
The buds that found light and grew eventually are sticky as hell and been covered in trichs for weeks. The harvest is very poor due to her position and difficulty getting going. She has a nice smell tonher that is sweeting but a kush tone too. Nice and solid sticky nugs to try once cured.
This girl never really got going. She struggled from germination right to harvest. I do think it was a pheno issue and not strain related but she really didn't get busy.
Everything that can be said about this strain has already been written. Shebhas turned out amazing and Tastes beautiful too. Herbnugs are solid and heavy with the and trichs. She has a really nice kick to her smoke that unleashes her potent hit within a few minutes. Everything I hoped for and more from this classic. Typical node spacing for GG#4 but she produced top notch buds.
An absolutely fantastic strain to grow for all levels of ability. Withbsupoirt this girl could throw some serious yield out of great buds. She was responsive to training and coped with drowned roots early on to recover well and finish. In my top 10

I have many gods keeping them green and pleasant I think. lol This has been a very simple grow cycle songar which I am so not used too. lol There has to be a disaster to contend with somewhere or it wasnt my grow. lol. Have a prep through so e of my other journals and you will see what I mean!!!!!
