Hello! I'm giving this beautiful sativa a second try.Hopefully I have a female seed this time.19lt Plagron Cocos Premium along with some of their nutrients,GHE Calcium Magnesium and Fulvic Acid. I prefertilized the medium with very little amount of CalMag It was very dry during first week, you can see the signs looking at the picture. Also I burnt it a little bit but it quickly recovered.I'm trying to increase humidity, ordered a humidifier.

humidifier arrived near the end of this week.since then,it is doing really well. It seems not to like higher EC feedings, that's why I skip on Calmag when I feed her with Cocos A. One day feeding with Cocos A + Fulvic, next day water including GHE Calcium Magnesium 0.5ml/lt . that calmag increases the EC and Panama doesnt like it.Despite early dryness and burn symptoms, it quickly recovered and looking healthy. Before humidifier arrived,I sprayed water containing fulvic acid 2-3 times a day,it worked a bit.

LST'ing the baby at every feeding. She liked the improved environment, doesn't strictly want calcium. Now both lights are on, 1 HPS & 1 MH , on hours dropped to 18 to avoid high bills.but it is creating a dual spectrum environment, both at 250w. she is already a bushy one. Feeding so far : one day : 1ml Cocos a + 1ml Fulvic Acid + 1ml Sugar royal other day : 0.5ml Cocos a + 0.5 CalMag

switched to 11 on 13 off to trigger flowering as first 2 weeks of flower wasnt much of a flowering. Now I see pistils coming out, stretch is still happening way too cruel even for me who is growing without a tent.I think I'll need to raise the lamp some more in a week or so.

Hi there! It looks like potassium deficiency BUT it might be something else if the balance of nutes ios not right. You know best what you have been feeding to them so check mulders chart and pH to figure what could be wrong. Basically too much N,P,Ca or Mg will result in K def and when I look at the color of the leafs there is slighty dark green so maybe you have too much N from veg in soil and now they don't want it as much? Not certain but feels like it

Happy Harvest Day!

Very deep, very clean high. It keeps you light and happy throughout your journey.Scissor hash was extremely energetic.Buds after 1 month of curing feel deeper and still energetic. Just a bit more different than other strains. It goes deeper and deeper as time passes. High is clean, deep and uplifting overall. It's the first time I smoke a weed this deep. More joints make it heavier. Taste is great as well. Fresh mango smell during flowering has become sweeter in jars.Taste is like apples at first,I get a paste taste after that and lastly some tree/wood notes. Smooth taste (plant wasn't flushed) and comfortable smoke.

First of all , I want to thank to my people following this diary, from my heart. We did a great job in a 19lt pot with pure coco.It was vegged for 5 weeks but it had landrace traits and first 6 weeks of flowering was still vegging and stretching. It quadrupled in size, really! Check back weeks 5 and 19. It was over 190 cm at final. This is a green pheno apparently, taking longer and having lesser resin production with cleaner effect.Flowering took 15 weeks, literally. After 20 total weeks, I got sweet buds off it.It could easily have gone 2 more weeks but since I had to move and didn't want it to stay under a hot hps lamp in hot and dry conditions, I chopped it down. When I harvested it, trichomes were almost all milky. So I can say this wasn't an early harvest. We were in harvest season and very close to peak THC. Buds continue to develop some more while curing, that's why my first test subjects were very much different than the ones I'm smoking at the moment. For growing part, all I can say is feed lighter on N during vegetation and feed heavier on P and K during flowering. It produces large buds. You'll probably need to support branches as they stretch a lot and fruits become larger and heavier. It appreciates supercropping and gives you bigger buds if done correctly. You'll also probably need to do it on some branches. After 6 weeks into flowering,I noticed some deficiency stuff and realized it stopped stretching and wanted to focus on flowers. It was a potassium deficiency and I reacted quick, added Cocos B to the feeding, plant reacted quick too and recovered well.In late flowering, foxtailing occured on some buds that were closer to the lamp but not that much. One thing to add : this plant loves humidity especially in vegetation.First 2 weeks was without humidifier and it was %40.It stayed small for that phase then I added a humidifier at the end of the week and it thrived after that. Hot and dry weather makes buds lighter and callyxes smaller,as you already know. But Panama is very resistant against heat,my product still feels solid in my hand. Also terpenes tend to sheer off if it is too hot (my grow room went over 32C towards the end) but Panama still tastes great. Buds are not that dense but they have a compact look.Sweet mango, tropic smell in jars. One reason I requested for a effect/taste update on growdiaries is that weed like this can't exactly be defined with those same smileys. Panama is obviously a strong one, stretches like there is no tomorrow , has a truly elegant shape , an interesting high and a desirable taste.Despite having hot conditions in grow room, CO2 helped handling it without problem, window was always open and I live in a rather crowded area. Panama is really resistant to heat. It could be even better in colder conditions.I should definitely try it again in a winter grow. I can see any cross of this strain would be so great.Classy stuff. See you again.. for a new grow maybe... :)

@Grey_Wolf,yes mate big stretch. I think I did hst on 3 tallest branches in week 5 or 6,since we already lost 2 weeks,I don2t want to disturb it anymore, just want to let it do its job with minimum time loss. But I might need some more like you said. What do you think about it, will it lengthen the flowerin period if I do some more hst?

Reapercommentedweek 95 years ago
whoa so this is the coco A and B ? this is just 1ml/liter of each in the water ?
HighRoller909
HighRoller909commented5 years ago
@Reaper, no I do it because A contains N mostly(4-0-1) and B has mostly pk (1-4-2) since vegging plants wont need that much of pk,I skip on B in veg and switch to completely B when buds are forming.it worked in my last grow, seems to be working at the moment as well. this saves me bottles, they arent that cheap anymore here
Reaper
Reapercommented5 years ago
@HighRoller909, i dont want to make u panic but u have to add the same amount of A and B u can lower or higher EC by adding less i think thats why the plants grow so big as the B part contains the P-K, i used the hydro A and B once
HighRoller909
HighRoller909commented5 years ago
@Reaper, yeah only cocos a b and sugar royal(every other day) . when I go above 1ml for cocos a, they both showed signs of n toxicity.I kept it low in veg,now increasing cocos b. they say combining sugar royal with green sensation will result amazing. gonna see it soon :) I'm only using A for veg,A and B for transition, then only B for the rest of flowering btw

@HighRoller909, Yeah, thanks for the info. That's definitely castor bean (which I'm unfamiliar with, but just checked), reminded me a lot of some weird maple looking thing though coz of the leaves and colour. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maple_leaf https://www.luontoportti.com/suomi/images/19844.jpg https://www.beautifulflowerpictures.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/japanese_maple_5_iijima_sunago.jpg http://justfunfacts.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/maple-tree-leaves.jpg https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/maple-types-1024x680.jpg

@HighRoller909, sounds fantastic^^ I love the 70s and I will try next panaba, after maybe chocolate haze, but that's not decided yet. Cheers
HighRoller909
HighRoller909commented4 years ago
@MisterForestgreen, Thank you! It wasn't the easiest plant I've ever grown but not it wasn't too hard to grow either. For a landrace sativa,it may have difficulties through flowering, need a lot of maintenance because of its size but all is controllable.Wish I grew it in winter time but still tastes good. But the high is much different from all other weeds I've tried.Very deep effects, due to heats I think I lost some potency but I can imagine what it would be like if it was at peak point, thing is really potent.Taste is good. You could just give it a try.Another thing for sure is this plant produces well.I prefer Nepal Jam and Congo over Panama though, all personal preferences. Let's see how Golden Tiger and Killer A5 Haze do in new grow.I'm wondering.

@Med_in_Tropic, it is a great pleasure to have you and other mates around.im very thankful for all reviews done by you and looking forward to see your harvest report.well,it'll take a lot of time but no problem,im here looking for it :) And i should try the red pheno in a near future.anyway this plant can be used in crosses as it is very strong and vigorous.İ see ACE are doing the same, they have various crosses of panama such as Malawi x Panama or Panama x Bangi Congo. if they were in stock,i would order and start some.Long high part is true but i don't think you'll feel it next day because of your high tolerance.but time to time smokers or moderate tolerance people will surely feel the almost-high effect the next day.i found it out after giving a week break.and my occasional smoker buddies told the same, even a hardcore one said the same. the first day after harvrst,me and a couple of friends smoked a few joints, next day we called each other to say we couldn't sleep, dreams were rushing around and we were still functioning in sleep.this was crazy :D Thank you for a great review, Sir 😊

Congratulations on your plants they looks near perfect no nute burn no deff and nice buds especially for a 250w. Will keep a close eye on your oppeation wish you all the best for the rest!

@sativaman, Thanks mate,I've seen your diaries and following along for those Malawis.Wish you a great grow.I love ACE's gear, top quality genetics. They say expected times are 12-13 weeks for this green pheno,it took longer for me,to week 15.And it could have easily gone 2 more weeks but I didn't want it to be under a hot hps when temps are at 32-33C here.Trics were very dominantly milky, almost all.I didn't want to lose terpenes and I don't have any more time,I'm moving for a while. We had some earlier potassium deficiency as it can be seen on the middle part fan leaves, they appeared right when she almost stopped stretching.I understood she wanted to boost flowers,I started giving more P and K , problem solved. She likes to drink by the way.Having 2 separate 250s works well.I think you'll have similar flowering times, hope you can chop it at week 12.I heard Malawi takes too long. But if I can decide whether I'm going to do another grow soon, one of my plants will be a Malawi cross :)
the end.
