FastBuds Girl Scout Cookies - Round 2!!

Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing amazing! TickTockCroc is back for another grow! ┏(＾0＾)┛ Last time, I did a Fastbuds Girl Scout Cookies grow in my closet using a small pot. Yielded 22g dry weight (lol). Didn't do any ph monitoring or temperature control until later. This time... I'm determined to do it better! For this grow I will be doing: 2 x Fastbuds Girl Scout Cookies 2 x Fastbuds Gelato I AM DOING A SEPARATE DIARY FOR EACH STRAIN. THIS DIARY WILL ONLY BE UPDATING PROGRESS WITH THE GIRL SCOUT COOKIES! For this set-up, I decided to get a 1.2m x 1.2m x 2.0m tent and a carbon filter with fan. Also using fabric pots instead of plastic. For lights I'm using my old 600W Viper LED. I love this set-up!! This diary is starting on Day 7 from seed for the GSC. They just got moved to the tent yesterday (had to wait for it in the mail, got excited and germinated seeds too soon lol) and so they were in the closet until then. There has been no fan to circulate air or remove heat, and I think that's why the first set of leaves are curling a bit. Annoyingly, I have to wait for distilled water to arrive in the mail so I can calibrate my PH meter, so have not been able to ph adjust water. It has had one watering of evian water so far, so hopefully thats OK. I am using BioBizz Light Mix soil and using BioBizz nutrients. I will update which specific nutrients when I can. Take care for now, folks! *EDIT* DAY 10 UPDATE: I've uploaded a day 10 video update! So today is day 10 and I fed them their first feed yesterday. I've added the nutrient details to the diary. They seem to be LOVING it. I also noticed some pale spots on some leaves - perhaps exterior nute burn as I splashed the leaves by accident. We'll see.

Hey people! We have arrived to Day 14 and WOW these girls really do make you realise why the company is called FastBuds!! (Just checked my last diary and I said the same 😂, FastBuds genetics are really fast guys). The GSC girls have BOOMED in growth since week 1. Unfortunately, my local mail service lost my FastBuds Gelato seeds, so the back two pots right now are mystery seeds, and they definitely have a very slow growth rate compared to the GSC. The small cup is Gorilla Glue (photoperiod), but just doing for fun as it was lying around, may not continue with it so let's not focus on it. This diary is all about the GSC, so who cares about all that! Gave them a second feed of nutrients, and PH'd it to the right level. They seem to be LOVING it. I have upped the dose since my last grow diary for this strain and they are reacting very well it seems. Thinking of doing some LST next week or so but not sure if I should, never done it before and don't want to mess these plants up. I've done a lot of research on it so I'm going to have to come to a decision next week. We'll see! Much love friends, see you on the next update! Will start their 1 week separate diary next week. I ended up pulling out the smallest mystery seed in the back (trashed it) and replaced it with a FastBuds Gelato seed. I then transplanted the other mystery seed to a 5th pot, as it seems to be doing well, and replaced it's old pot with another FastBuds Gelato seed. I also just got an EXTRA LIGHT! There was no real need for it, but I really want to try and produce the best buds possible. I have added a MARS HYDRO TS1000 LED. Hopefully they do well with it.

Hey everyone! To my surprise, last night, I found PISTILS on the GSC plants!!! On Day 21!!! What?!?!? Reminder: MIDDLE PLANT IS GSC #1. BOTTOM LEFT PLANT IS GSC #2. (Bottom right is mystery seed, two in the back are FastBuds Gelato, cup is a Gorilla Glue photoperiod seed. This diary is only focusing on the GSC plants). Well, they are looking beautiful. GSC #1 is looking the healthiest. GSC #2 is looking good but for some reason some of the leaves seem to have patchy white parts which I'm worried about, it seems to be some kind of infection of the leaves. **EDIT**: My roommate told me he had dabbed down the plants with tissue paper in the middle of the night as the humidity was a little out of control and created droplets on the plants (we removed the extractor fan for one day). On further inspection, I am pretty sure this is tissue paper residue on the leaves! All should be OK! Gave them a full course of feeding yesterday according to BioBizz's feed chart. I have fed the plants substantially much more than my last grow diary, and they seem to be responding really well. I also managed to get a new and much better humidifier to deal with the low humidity levels and it's been working a charm. I also LST'd the plants a few days ago. This is the first time I have ever tried LST. I'm hoping to get more big kola sites with this method. After tying the main stems back on both girls, they were already upright the next day. Amazing. I'd also like to mention that I am, and have been, taking a tolerance break for this entire grow. Hey all! Reminder: MIDDLE PLANT IS GSC #1. BOTTOM LEFT PLANT IS GSC #2. (Bottom right is mystery seed, two in the back are FastBuds Gelato. This diary is only focusing on the GSC plants). WOW wow WOW. I just cannot believe the rate of growth this past week. The girls have just EXPLODED with growth! These girls are definitely turning out to be waaaaay bigger than my last grow of GSC. The big fabric pots are amazing. Unfortunately, half-way through the past week I noticed yellow tips on the leaves. I have been using organic nutrients, but have not given the girls plain water in between any of the feedings. I've been feeding with nutes mostly once a week, but sometimes twice. I think this is definitely a sign of nute burn. So, yesterday, I flushed the plants out twice with plain PH'd water. I hope that has stopped the nute burn in its tracks. The bud sites are just starting to form. The LST that I did seems to be definitely worth it - top bud sites everywhere!! I cannot wait to start seeing some buds bulking up! This diary is only focusing on the GSC plants). Wow, the growth has been insane. The girls are touching the edges of the tent, and you can almost get lost telling what's what in this sea of green! The bud sites are definitely showing signs of swelling up. Unfortunately I dealt with some nute burn on both plants, more on one than the other, but I flushed them twice with PH'd water and it seemed to have stopped it spreading. Definitely was feeding too much. Stuck to the dosage guidelines but feel I did not give enough plain water in between nute-water feedings (actually none at all until I flushed them). Man. They are huge plants. Underestimated how big these would actually get! I CANNOT WAIT to start seeing fat buds! As I mentioned before, I have been taking a tolerance break for most of this grow and I will continue to do so until harvest (day 25 of the tolerance break today). This diary is only focusing on the GSC plants). Wow. This last week was crazy. Had some MAJOR ISSUES. One morning, GSC #2 was drooping like CRAZY, same with GSC #1 but nowhere near as bad. It looked like GSC #2 was dead. Leaves completely drooped down flat. It was shocking and devastating to see. The weeks prior, I had some nute burn issues so I flushed the plant over 2 days. I thought that would have given it enough water so I left it without a watering for 6/7 days. And wow, I was definitely wrong. The girls were thirsty for more. It was definitely an under-watering issue. This is my first time growing in fabric pots, and many say it's seriously hard to overwater in them, and they were right. The pot breathes extremely well. Lesson learned. I gave them a good feeding of water, and thank GOODNESS they BOUNCED BACK! WOW! What RESILIENT GIRLS! Unfortunately GSC #2 was so thirsty she began killing off some fan leaves that became dry and crispy, so I pruned them off. Defoliated quite a lot of dead fan leaves off, but it seemed to be a good move as more light is now getting through to bud sites, and she's definitely happy right now. Because of the previous nute burn, I am giving very small doses of the nutes, just to make sure she eases back into things. I am starting to see the bud sites swell, and resin production! Hey all, So some of the leaves have started to yellow big time on GSC #1 as well as the leaves turning very purple and fast. I saw in my last grow that the same happened, so im not TOO worried. I do think that it may be yellowing due to underfeeding the past week or so. Will monitor the situation. Other than that they are lookin frosty!!! Peace, Love, Health & Happiness -TickTockCroc

GrowDiaries messed up during my grow, it wouldn't let me update my next week, so it threw all my progress off from being tracked, unfortunately. Ended up getting a huge yield of my plants. Will update with numbers soon. I let it dry and cure for a while. Its good bud, not the best. For autoflower, its great though. Ended a 2 month tolerance break with it, and it wasn't THAT crazy. Usually even after 2/3 weeks of a break, im FLYING and trying to stop myself from freaking out after smoking again. This strain didn't do that for me, which was honestly pretty upsetting and a huge anti-climax. Dont get me wrong, still got me baked, def has therapeutic effects, but its not gonna floor you, even on a 2 month tolerance break :/
