Frost is clearly setting in. The plant is a bitch to handle being so so sticky and so so smelly but I would not have it any other way.
Weather seems to be boosting terp production. So for all the shit I talked about the weather it is actually doing pretty good.
Built a shelter so the plants are not in the rain anymore but still quite in the 'open'
Green sensation doing wonders again. Fattening her up nice. I like my girls plump ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Did some agressive LST. Might even be considered HST because I had to twist a branch so much I split it along the branches length. But the twisting closed the split again so I am hoping the branch recovers from it. The reason I had to do this is because I slacked on my circle LST and I didn't twist the main branch enough resulting in side branches being top and bottom of the plant. This had as results bud sites were too cramped and I don't want any bud rot. I'm actually really curious as I am typing this because I haven't checked in on her after doing this. Might update later. Kinda like how she looks now though.
Lots of yellowing fan leaves, thought it was a deficiency but I think its just the difference between breeders. RQS doesn't have this as much while I have it on 2 different plants/strains from fastbuds and I am not noticing any issues for the rest.
The sun has been unrelentless and i think it caused some heatstress because pistils were starting to form again. A bit over a week later i can clearly see more bud forming. Sun has calmed down but weather is getting bad. What do? Chop or leave a bit more? Leaning to chop.
Hi,
Bring your light up, check your temperature and continue with your harvest schedule. This can happen if your plants are too close to the light and heat problems. Foxtailing
Try to fix this problems so there isnt further damage.
Happy harvest!!
This is why the common recommendation is too observe trichomes. If she show deficiencies like she appears to be.. I would chopping sooner rather then later.. Starving plants and allowing them to process all available resources can lend itself to product that doesn't finish nicely or well at all. You will get very different information from different growers Like some folks aim for Amber that is 30% because it provides for a cough/couch lock experience... This will not fly very well in my area.. People prefer and know product should be and can be smooth.. Some people associate the coughing and the heavy feeling with "good" weed.. Experienced smokers/connoisseurs know the difference. Find your own preference..
