Ok starting of the new gen. going with red hot cookies hopping for a good grow. Going back to my mars hydro 144 coz I feed the mars ts1000 was my problem last grow. Wish me luck this time 😊
Start of week 2 girls are looking good. Having a small problem between my grow room nutriboss is showing water ph is 5.8 but an external cheap wand I use to ph the fresh I put in is showing my res as 6.4, used buffer 7 and 4 and both show spot on. How the frack am I getting 2 different readings....
Ok start of week 3 all is going great no signs of any problems. I m going to try something new next week. I m going to try f.i.m and topping for the first time. I m going to fim the back 2 and top the front 2 I want too see what one works best for me. I have read that fim is slightly less stress then topping and can create 2 too 4 nodes or more. Topping is supposed to be more stress but a tried and tested method with great results for small spaces. So check next weeks diary I will be doing a video as well to show how well or bad I do it lol. Ok start of week 4 of veg. I have topped the front 2 and fim the back 2, not 100% sure if I fim the back too right or got to close and ended up topping lol will have too see. They have responded well to it though. I done it on sat and today (Monday) they already starting to bush more. Will do a defoliate this weekend to get rid of some of the big ass fan leafs but so far all seems to be going great. Happy growing to you all 😁🍻
Ok start of week 5. Done a big defoliation on all 4 plants. Last weeks topping and fiming seems to have gone well the plant didn’t react bad to it at all. The fiming seems to of given me at least 4 new main trunks per plant and the topping 2. Going to make this the last week for veg then next week flick them over to 12/12. Happy growing all 🍻
Ok start of first week of flower. Given her another defoliation she really responds well to it tbh. So far I m leaning towards liking the topping over the fim but we will have to see as we go along how it all pans out. I m going to be lead by results. All seems to be ticking over very nicely. Ok start of week 2 of flower. Not going to do much to her this week going to give her another week of rest then defoliation start of next week then leave her alone for flower. Back right showed signs she was not happy with last weeks defoliation, 3 weeks in a row was too much for her. But she is recovered and all seems to be going ok so far 😎
Ok start of week 3 of bloom. All is going great the bud zones are just starting to get the white pistols we all know and love. Swear down back left I can almost see small purplish / red dots, but I might be going mad lol. So I switched the nutrients to bloom nutrients so hopefully this week we will start to see some nice red buds start to form 😁 he says praying lmao. Happy growing all and be safe. 🍻
Start of week 4 of flower, all is plodding along nicely. The back left has started to show the purple I m hopeing to see in all. Upped the nutes a bit coz they showing on the nutriboss that they want more. Apart from that it’s been a steady week. I hope for more like this lol. Be safe all and happy growing.
Ok start of week 5, all seems to be going great. Back left is really showing the lovely pinky red that we all want too see. The other 3 have not as yet. Bud zones really starting to fill out and the stretch seems to of stopped. All in all very happy with this weeks growth. Happy growing all and be safe.
Start of week 6 of flower all seems to be going fine still only have one that has turned red. Apparently they supposed to do it in last two weeks so will have to see. Apart from that no real problems this week she drinking nicely and has put on bulk. Stay safe and and happy growing 😁😎🍻
Start of week 7 of flower. All seems to be plodding along nicely. No signs of any problems, the buds are fattening up lovely and the smell is really stunning. Proper fruity sweet smell. All in all very happy with the grow so far. Happy growing all and be safe.
Start of week 8 and it’s dragon force week. Hopefully should see some final swell before flush. All seems to have gone well this grow I have learned a lot about rdwc and I think I could of pushed her a little harder on nutrients but I m not unhappy. Let’s see what happens at the checker flag as they say. Happy growing all and be safe. 🍻
Ok start of week 9 and flush week there is a strong purple to the back left plant the other 3 have ping hue to the all look stunning and I love the red trunk on the plant it looks epic and the smell is sweet and fruity very looking forward too this one.
Ok all cut down now they spend a week in dark room drying then into a cure chamber with pads for 3 weeks. Will update next week with a harvest Weight and the last of the details for the grow.
Ok still learning my rcdwc system and I clearly didn’t push these girls nutrient wise and it shows in the yield but every grow makes me better and the smell and flavour is stunning.
@RastaMouse, it helps alot mate! Thank you. I'm thinking to move from 11L dirt to rdwc so I'm wondering what sizes to setup. But I'm thinking Togo with a flat box
@timbarin, my grow room is a cupboard measures 100cm x 80cm. I have a tent that I m setting up at that’s 100cm x 100cm and the rdwc system kit I got was from urbandeepwaterculture.co.uk hope that helps bro.
Topping can be stressfull fimming easy to do bro last time i did it i got four tops on each in stead of two tops. Your in a same size space as mine except have got my carbon on floor i will give this a follow see how it goes my first time in a tiny space
@RastaMouse,you would have to go through my diaries no one way of doing something im always messing and changing my mind it depends how i feel. But topping and i dont strip the bottom i have but its all personals for me so i dont mind pop corn buds
@RastaMouse, last time i did fim i did all branches even the middle and bottom go take a look at my purple berry kush diary and girl scout crack. Have fimmed one of these new ones have got up will take a picture tomorrow and post it been updating everyday want to see mine progress each day
Nice grow! Glad to see similar results to mine, especially the "red" going almost black ;) Did you notice the density difference between the green & red? Just trying to work out if I have a airflow issue in a specific section of the tent!
@RastaMouse, dont be too disappointed m8, after all bud is bud for percys, and it looks decent. We learn each time we grow, I mean I almost drowned my whole crop, and I wont be doing that again ;) Onwards and upwards!
@BuzzBee, yeh tbh I m a bit disappointed in this grow. It’s only my second grow on rdwc and because my first grow failed hard I was too gentle with pushing them nutrient wise so I feel it led to disappointing swell. 😞
you wanna feed it veg nuts still............................until about week 3 when the white hairs shows.....................and then give em flower feed
@RastaMouse,you might wanna ;ight deprive them too......................meaning give them less ppfd in first 2 weeks of flower............... then last week of veg...this really boost up a growth ............................at this stage my lights would be on less than 75 %....................week three boost it up to 90%...........................and then 100% starting week 5..............................but for this u need a powerful light.................i just dont know mars hydro lights to say if it is doable

@grzesiekkuzniak, erm.... every video I watched says to keep the water lvl just below the basket. I have been topping fimming and defoliation, wouldn’t that be more likely to be the reason they are only 11 or 12 inches atm???? Also I m trying to keep them low so in the stretch they don’t go mad. Why would water lvl affect the height of the plant? Honest question. Thx for any feed back ☺️👌🏻

Nice dark green to them so your not under or over feeding all looks tune in pretty nice there look forward to what the girls have to bring in flower hope you get a couple of phenos which is highly likely would be nice to see

Good luck with topping and FIMming...and the whole grow too of course. 😄 I've FIMmed in my previous grows...being a n00b and worried about over-stressing I have not topped before. My last grow I trimmed away lower limbs when FIMming and I think it worked out well. The nodes were too low to the coco and weren't going to produce much. Most growers I've read/watched believe allowing the lowest 1 or 2 nodes to grow out is wasted energy the plant could be applying somewhere more beneficial...closer near the top. Probably a debatable topic. 😄
This grow I plan to Top and will also be taking out a the lowest node when I do.
@Samson420, first time I tried topping or fimming so I m taking it easy on the defoliating, scared I could over stress and kill them lmao. I was debating cutting out the lower 2 branches but just got to scared I would over stress them lol.
