Another great week for this little beauty. She started out a little slow but has since taken off with a vengeance. Looking forward to see how this stretch develops.
@Gutismoke102, A very easy strain to grow. I did have some issue with nute burn but that was on me. I'd just recommend half strength on nutrients until you see how she responds. This strain was very forgiving and like all other FastBuds strains I've grown so far she's a beast. This one truly smells like it's namesake. Specifically for me orange Skittles. I cannot wait until she finishes.
@MrJones, I'm loving growing. It's a passion I knew I had but law kept me from pursuing it.
Now that I am living it, It's even better than I imagined. I'm fascinated by this plant.
@WeedTheNorth, Thank you brother. This is one strain I've never had the pleasure to smoke from any breeder. I'm really looking forward to this one. π
Thanks so much for running a diary of our genetics π

These girls' buds should just get fatten up and look amazing!

@MrJones, Could not agree more brother. Thank you for the feedback. I'm always willing to try things until I feel closer to dialed in. Best as we can ever be :)
Have a great one.
@Treighfunky, I see so many different takes on this, I found about 55/60% Humidity and about 65F is a nice sweet spot, more airflow during the first 24 hours and very little thereafter - good news here in MI the weather temp is dropping so my upcoming harvest should be so much easier to maintain - but every time I think I have it hard wired the canna gods to send me a surprise! Good luck brother your farming is spot on!
@MrJones, Hey brother. I think this time I'm going to try just removing most of the stem and drying on a hanging rack. My temp is right around 72 degrees F (22C) and my humidity is 52%. I have a box fan pointing diagonally towards the walls to circulate the air without hitting the plants directly. I'm hoping this helps. My Wedding Cheesecake dry environment was too hot and I had no control of it for the entire week. Those buds lost a lot of density and smell profile. Wish me luck on this one.
Wow nice size for a fast buds plant. I always had hit and miss luck with them.
Great job with the grow, can't wait to see the weights.
How soon do you do a full leaf removal? Last 2 weeks?
@Treighfunky, i need to get better at leaf removal...I get stuck in the photosynthetic real estate mindset. Then at harvest i have a zillion irritating leaves to deal with!π
You'd think id be used to it because my shop does defo like for hours and hours and it works there.
But at home I do a nice clean up of the bottoms and then mildly defoliate the rest throughout the grow.
@Experimentgreen, Thank you so much :)
With leaf removal I've been in a habit of picking a few here and there throughout the flowering phase and by the last week I have very minimal fan leaves and mostly sugar leaves kept for bubble hash. Also experimenting ;) with this to see how it affects the plant positively or negatively with outcome. What works best for you?
@Tektonik80, Thank you so much my friend for stopping through. I can't wait for this one to finish. Like I told FoTwenny, I've never had the pleasure of experiencing this strain myself. I'm really looking forward to it.
@Okiesmokiepodcast, Thank you so much my friend. I really appreciate that. Speaking of tasty.... that daiquiri lime and lemon zkittles you got going is looking outstanding. I have both of those on my radar. Can't wait to see how they finish for you. π
