Really Excited to start a FastBuds grow. I've heard and seen nothing bu amazing things with their auto's. I'm starting with Zkittles Auto. I have not personally had the chance to try this strain but it looks right up my alley. I'm going to keep things simple for this grow. Just Fox Farm nutrients and a little Big Bloom. Other than that I plan on just ph balanced watering at 6.0
Looking forward to see how this turns out.
Another week down. She is doing well. I added one feeding with Fox farm nutrients. The rest were waterings ph's at 6.6
I will continue the regiment into next week.
Another great week for this little beauty. She started out a little slow but has since taken off with a vengeance. Looking forward to see how this stretch develops.
This was another great week of growth. Looks like on the last day we're about to see pistols. I have just watered this week with the ph set to 6.5
Things have really heated up as far as temps and it's made it challenging to keep my tents at a proper temp. I'll continue to look for a solution to this issue.
Another great week of growth. Again I'm only watering plain with my ph set at 6.
We have begun the flowering phase and this plant has been awesome. I'm looking forward to see what next week brings.
This was a huge week for growth. She is one absolute beauty of a plant. Very symmetrical and vivacious. I did one Fox Farm nute feeding at a third of the recommended dosage. The rest were watering ph's at 6.0
I could not be happier with how this plant has been growing. These FastBuds genetics are no joke.
Loving these FastBuds genetics. This plant has been wonderful these last couple of weeks. She really has shot up and has grown tremendously. I have continued to give plain water ph'd at 6.0
She seems to be happy when I do this. I'll continue until the soil is depleted or she looks like she's missing something.
This was another stellar week for this lady. I think we are ending the stretch and beginning to put all energy into bud development. I watered all week with plain water ph'd at 6. On Sunday I added blackstrap molasses to the mix. I then heavily defoliated her as I wanted all energy and light going to the bud sites. As of this morning she shows no sign of strain and is looking healthy and perky. I will continue this regiment into next week. As always any help or feedback is always welcome. Thank you to everyone that has stopped and looked, offered advice and support, and has plain shown some love. This has kept me disciplined and motivated to do a great job week after week. Thank you all.
This was another great with with this beautiful lady. I've been consistent with alternating waterings with plain and then nute based all ph'd at 6.
Today was a big day as my Spider SF-4000 came in. As soon as it was on I noticed a difference. My plants actually looked at me with respect. Also I could have sworn Zkittles reached out to give me a high five😉
Looking forward to see how this shapes up the grow. As always thank you to everyone that stops through with support and help. Y'all are my jam!!!
She is blowing up this week. After replacing my LED with a new Spider Farm SF-4000 things have changed quite a bit. She really loves the new light. On top of that I have been watering with plain water ph'd at 6. With every other watering I am using the note mix. I also flushed her on Saturday to check the current ph of the soil. Things were running a little high. On Monday I watered with my ph adjusted to compensate for the difference. I will continue to monitor through the week. She is really starting to smell wonderful. Very subtle and sweet so far.
It was another great week for this lady. These bud sites are filling up daily. The smell.......oh the sweet smell. It's like a different pack of fruit candy everyday. I did notice some light burn on some leaves. I also will be adjusting my nutrients to accommodate the uptake since the addition of the new light. I also did some really light defoliation just to make room for light to the rest of the canopy I'm really getting excited about this one. 👍
This was another great week and by yesterday the smell has gone from an indiscernible sweet to SKITTLES!! I was floored when I actually smelled hands down orange Skittles. She's continuing to beef up in all the right spots. She's also responded much better to this new nutrient regiment. I'll continue to alternate between nutrient feeds and just plain ph at 6 watering. I also did some very light defoliation. As always any feedback is always welcome. Happy growing everyone 😀
It was a slow and steady week for the Zkee Zkee Zkittles 😀 She continues to put on weight in all bud sites. The smell continues to be spot on with orange skittles. It is incredible to smell and see right now. These buds are incredibly dense. The hairs have yet to start turning dark or curling in yet. Trichomes look still more clear than cloudy but are fast changing. I'll continue to water as if it were in ripening stage. If things change quickly I'll begin to flush. Hopefully in the home stretch now and I cannot wait. As always any and all feedback is most welcome. Stay safe and happy growing.
Based on her growth so far I'd say I have another 2 weeks before this one finishes. Although the pistols have all been turning color as of yesterday. We'll see how this plays out. I've continued to alternate between plain ph'd water and a nutrient blend. She is still maintaining that beautiful smell profile. It's exactly like orange skittles or an orange tootsie pop that has the chocolate exposed. Really looking forward to seeing how she finishes. Thank you to everyone that stops by to share some support. I appreciate y'all. 😀
Looks like things are coming to an end. I've been flushing for better than half a week and will continue until the hairs curl in a bit more. Trichomes seem right on with all of them mostly cloudy. It does appear that there are new pistols forming. It seems this gal may be under heat stress. I've dimmed my light in homes that it helps. I'll continue watering with plain water until she's ready to go dark. As usual any feedback is always welcomed. Stay safe and happy growing. 😀
This has been a weird race to the finish line. I think she was heat/light stressed and started having new growth late in the game. All of my trichomes are perfectly milky white and just leaning in on the amber. She has a real orange chocolate tootsie pop smell as of late. I have been flushing for almost 2 weeks and on Saturday I drilled a hole in the stem and put her in darkness. Today was the day I chopped. I could not believe how dense these buds were and I ended up pulling 14.18 ounces wet. I decided to go with a full rack dry this time versus hanging. We'll see how things turn out. Even after a fresh chop it smells like the sweetest dessert. I cannot wait for this one to dry and am looking forward having the smoke report out by next week. Stay safe and happy growing 😀
This was a really fun plant to grow. Very responsive to LST and defoliation. She was a biggun and gave me 17.4oz wet. All through the flowering she smelled of nothing but fruit and orange skittles. Then later on the smell turned into more of an orange tootsie pop close to the center. After the initial dry and cure she lost some weight and fruit smell. The smell is very much a coco puff or hot chocolate mix smell. Once you grind the herb the profile really expands. It's a really smooth smoke and compliments well if you have a sweet tooth. It will creep up on you about 10 minutes after you puff so beware going hard on this one. I wish the temps in my dry room were better during the initial cure. We had a heatwave that started the day after I cut. I'm still really happy with this lady and would grow her again in a heartbeat.

@Gutismoke102, A very easy strain to grow. I did have some issue with nute burn but that was on me. I'd just recommend half strength on nutrients until you see how she responds. This strain was very forgiving and like all other FastBuds strains I've grown so far she's a beast. This one truly smells like it's namesake. Specifically for me orange Skittles. I cannot wait until she finishes.
@MrJones, I'm loving growing. It's a passion I knew I had but law kept me from pursuing it.
Now that I am living it, It's even better than I imagined. I'm fascinated by this plant.
@Fast_Buds, Thank you very much for the support. Thankfully your team makes things really easy with these wonderful genetics. Great job to everyone on staff. I cannot tell you how great it is to be able to lean on your team for support. Helps us growers maximize the most out of your genetics. 👍
These girls' buds should just get fatten up and look amazing!
Moving along nicely My Friend!Great Progress with your Garden!

@MrJones, Could not agree more brother. Thank you for the feedback. I'm always willing to try things until I feel closer to dialed in. Best as we can ever be :)
Have a great one.
@Treighfunky, I see so many different takes on this, I found about 55/60% Humidity and about 65F is a nice sweet spot, more airflow during the first 24 hours and very little thereafter - good news here in MI the weather temp is dropping so my upcoming harvest should be so much easier to maintain - but every time I think I have it hard wired the canna gods to send me a surprise! Good luck brother your farming is spot on!
@MrJones, Hey brother. I think this time I'm going to try just removing most of the stem and drying on a hanging rack. My temp is right around 72 degrees F (22C) and my humidity is 52%. I have a box fan pointing diagonally towards the walls to circulate the air without hitting the plants directly. I'm hoping this helps. My Wedding Cheesecake dry environment was too hot and I had no control of it for the entire week. Those buds lost a lot of density and smell profile. Wish me luck on this one.
Wow nice size for a fast buds plant. I always had hit and miss luck with them.
Great job with the grow, can't wait to see the weights.
How soon do you do a full leaf removal? Last 2 weeks?
@Treighfunky, i need to get better at leaf removal...I get stuck in the photosynthetic real estate mindset. Then at harvest i have a zillion irritating leaves to deal with!😂
You'd think id be used to it because my shop does defo like for hours and hours and it works there.
But at home I do a nice clean up of the bottoms and then mildly defoliate the rest throughout the grow.
@Experimentgreen, Thank you so much :)
With leaf removal I've been in a habit of picking a few here and there throughout the flowering phase and by the last week I have very minimal fan leaves and mostly sugar leaves kept for bubble hash. Also experimenting ;) with this to see how it affects the plant positively or negatively with outcome. What works best for you?
@Tektonik80, Thank you so much my friend for stopping through. I can't wait for this one to finish. Like I told FoTwenny, I've never had the pleasure of experiencing this strain myself. I'm really looking forward to it.
@Okiesmokiepodcast, Thank you so much my friend. I really appreciate that. Speaking of tasty.... that daiquiri lime and lemon zkittles you got going is looking outstanding. I have both of those on my radar. Can't wait to see how they finish for you. 😀
