1/3- Here we go...Week 9! The #1 pheno is just about ready to go dark as she's fading, her stacking has slowed to a crawl and her trichomes are close to perfect! The #2 pheno isn't far behind her sister, maybe 1-2 days, and I'm checking her daily. All they are getting now is straight ph'd water with Fox Farms Sledgehammer added to flush out any remaining nutrients in the medium.
1/5- Today was the day for the #1 pheno to go dark! ๐๐ The trichomes on her were just about where I like them at this point, 10% amber, and they'll continue to form and ripen during her 72hrs. of dark. She'll be kept at 58-62 deg. @ 42% RH and I'll stick a few cold packs in her pot for the last 24hrs to really amp up the trichomes (I've done this for as long as I've been growing indoors and have not been disappointed yet). The #2 pheno is a few days behind her sister. She still has quite a few snow white stigmas and is still showing a percentage of clear/semi-translucent trichomes. I'll probably place her in the dark by weeks end. Both girls have that classic funky, earthy/spicy with floral hints, Power Plant aroma which I noticed while smoking some Power Plant from a previous harvest....unmistakable! Can't wait for the finals on both of these ladies and am stoked to try some of their 'fruits' after a good cure! ๐
1/7- The #1 pheno is enjoying her time in the dark and I'll be hanging her on the 8th. The #2 pheno will go dark tonight and believe me, she's READY! She has the prettiest coloration with a lot of pink hues in her flowers. I did not water her yesterday and when I checked her today she was light so I gave her .5g de-chlorinated water with Fox Farms Sledgehammer added @ 10ml/g (to help finish flushing out any remaining nutrients left in the medium) then ph'd to 6.5 with my BlueLab PH Pen. EC was 0.6 @ 50ppm checked with a BlueLab Truncheon Meter. I can't wait for the finals on these two Dutch Passion cultivars, their genetics never fail to knock it out of the park! ๐๐
1/9- So long Week 9! The #1 pheno is hung and looking beautifully frosty! The #2 is in the dark until the 11th then I'll be hanging her up! The drying room conditions are perfect with temp's running 50-54 deg. with a 51% RH. Stay tuned for the final weigh in for these two gorgeous ladies! ๐๐
@Inganjawetrust, thanks so much! They're a bit slow on the stretch but they should still put on another few inches before they start really getting busy!๐๐
