Start of week two, everyone sprouted successfully so I cranked up the lights to 100% and added a shot of Cal-Mag to the water... hoping to see some major growth happen this week!
Doing great so far! Added Liquid Karma to the nutrient lineup...torn between flowering next week and transplanting up to 3 gallon fabric pots!?!?
Edit-Outgrew their pots...went up to 2.5 gallons...
Still only middle of week four...but I made quite a few changes, so it seemed easier to start a new week... transplanted, defoliated and moved them down to about 24" from the lights...added some Bloom nutrients, just to prevent any P/K deficiencies... switching to flower after a four day recovery period on the 15th!
Day 1 of flowering after 24 hours straight darkness! Temporarily using Grow Big in my nutrients to be sure they're well fed during the stretch... might top them again soon? Or just stick with LST/defoliation from here out?
Just starting week two of flowering... starting to stretch pretty fast... stepped up the nutrients again, added Big Bloom... defoliated a little this morning before pictures... hoping to see some "budlets" by weeks end!
Took a bunch of clones this week... everyone is down to eight main branches plus the tops... totally stripped the bottom halves... aside from that, nothing really changed... everything is pretty dialed in at this point, so I'm hoping I can kinda just ride this wave for 6-ish weeks until flush begins...oh I do see some baby buds starting to form!
Zkittles girls are looking great! Kept ppm the same but changed ratios a bit now that the stretch should be pretty much over...saw some light stress so I moved it up about 4"... just doing mild defoliation every day now that structure is formed... thinking about adding supplemental co2 soon?
Zkittles girls are looking great right now! Starting to get some nice frost everywhere and showing some pink/purple pistils... some slight yellowing happening, but nothing major... maybe up their nutrients a hundred ppm soon? Got some twenty gram Co2 cartridges coming soon so I can start giving them small shots of it twice a day!
Stepped up the feeding big time over the last week... added Fox Farm Tiger Bloom to the mix... including some bud pictures this week because they are starting to get some serious glitter and nice purple towards the tops!
Zkittles are looking and smelling amazing right now! It's like a blizzard is hitting in here every night! And the fruity/skunky smell when I unzip the tent is a smack in the face! All done doing any sort of HST, just sticking to light defoliations every couple days. Also cut out all vegetative phase nutrients and added Advance Nutrients Overdrive and Bud Candy instead...I'm thinking another week of heavy feeding and then a week of lowering nutrients slowly, then a week or so of flushing and they'll be ready for harvest! Getting so close! Two out of the four plants are definitely ready for the chop in about ten days! The other two still have lots of white pistils, so I'm thinking another two or maybe even three weeks on them...I'm going to start flushing the first two tomorrow, using cold water to encourage them to purple up a bit...the other two will be getting fed for another week at least... seeing a bit of tip burn starting, probably dial it back on the nutrients to 700-ish poms...cya again in a week, and then after that it'll be harvest report!
First two Zkittles girls are in a cold/dark closet for twenty four hours before I cut them down tomorrow...and they came out beautiful! I'll add pictures of them once they're hanging...the two left in the tent are still shooting out white pistils, so I'm hesitant to start flushing them yet... instead I lowered the nutrients to 550ppms... probably be ready for flush in another week and chop down in two-ish...be back tomorrow with harvest pictures of the first two!
This "week" is just an update on the first two Zkittles plants...I tried doing ice water flushes for the last few days and then put them in the dark for 24 hours before chopping them this morning! I feel like stressing them out last minute caused a subsequent production of trichomes...but who can say for sure? They also feel slightly more dense than they did before, like they curled up to try to stay warm, so that's a bonus... waiting to do harvest report until the other two come down in a couple more weeks! Okay first two Zkittles are trimmed up and in jars already...the two have been getting flushed now for seven days, but still no sign of fading and not quite "ripe" yet...so I'll keep flushing and hopefully they'll be ready to chop in a week!
Side Note-First two plants yielded pretty much exactly an ounce each...55.9 grams combined...not bad for how small the pots/plants were, and boy is it top shelf stuff!
This stuff turned out great! The buds are the perfect density, and cured up beautifully. They're so sticky it's almost impossible to break up with your fingers, and clogged up my grinder quick! The smell is a little grassy still because they could use some more jar time...but it tastes amazing! Exactly like Skittles...strong berry smell, slightly sweet and a little tart. The high is definitely body heavy, but not truly "couch locked"...causes munchies big time. Really felt it in my eyelids which got super droopy...
Super happy with how things went this whole grow! Didn't have any major hiccups along the way and had a almost exactly 3 month turnaround time... finished product came out great and I had a lot of fun! Learned a lot about plant training, EC and growing in Coco... thanks for all the likes and comments everyone! Peace ✌️
Wow that’s a hell of a lot of growth for for 1 day! Onto it’s 3rd set of leaves in just 24 hrs. Mine took about 2 weeks to get their 3rd set. Nice work 😎👍

That middle one had a week head start on all the others actually... I wish that was twenty four hours...and I ended up moving it to my closet grow box and popping another one which is now almost two weeks behind the rest
