Wilma's shape is being formed with the addition of a modified tomato cage ring. I pulled six of her colas towards the bottom ring and left two colas alone. I have been lollipopping the six colas being pulled towards the bottom ring. I plan on continuing vegetative growth until her colas reach the top ring.
Wanda is finally thickening up her stems and looks to be stretching into the shape I want to achieve. She appears to be only a week or two behind Wilma now. Accidentally snapped one of her eight colas while training her on Day 80, leaving her with only seven colas now 😪. I also slightly tore one of her colas at the knuckle area while training. I don't even think she needed tape at that joint to heal, but I put some electrical tape on her anyways. I will try and train her colas in the same way as Wilma, except she will only have one cola growing in the middle. Welp Day 84 brought another snapped cola, I just don't learn. I placed another modified tomato cage on her and started training her with that instead.
Wilma's first clone (first cutting) has developed many more roots but is yet to really show more vegetative growth. I assume it's because her roots need to develop more. Wilma's third cuttings, a total of eight cuttings, have been in soil for nine days now. There are still no signs of roots reaching the edges of their containers. All cuttings still look healthy and green. I have been misting the cuttings daily.
@Victor0989,
Yep, I placed mine in the substrate on Monday and today (Friday) they are just starting to peak above the soil. I'm expecting them to be about an inch by Sunday or so.
