Setup is currently only under the SF1000 (100W) that I've used for all my previous grows. Decided to increase grow space a bit and purchase a TS1000 (150W) that I can't wait to use alongside my older light. I'll start using it when I transplant the WWs into larger pots.
Of the two seeds I started off with, one lady was struggling to remove the seed shell and open up. Decided to try and spray some water on the shell and check back after a few hours, but I wasn't seeing any results. Then I carefully removed the shell and noticed one of the cotyledons has turned completely brown and looks dead, while the other seems mostly healthy. Will keep an eye on her in hope of new growth. Figured I should start another WW seed in case she doesn't make it.
Wanda is looking happy and healthy with continual growth of her first set of new leaves.
Wilma just started showing new growth and will hopefully not die on me now, just need the growth to continue.
The remaining cells in the tray are for Carolina Reaper seeds to be germinated. I started germination of some self-harvested seeds from a Carolina Reaper that were, at the time of germination, a couple months old, but after not seeing any new growth from the seeds (no taproots) I thought maybe I fucked up harvesting and drying the seeds. Ordered some new seeds online from Puckerbutt, and read some information they provide on growing these seeds. Turns out germination time for these seeds is a few weeks, which seems very long considering cannabis seeds are ready to go in a few days. Decided to start germination over with the new seeds from Puckerbutt and leave them be for a few weeks - hopefully will get some Carolina Reaper seedlings soon.
@Victor0989,
Yep, I placed mine in the substrate on Monday and today (Friday) they are just starting to peak above the soil. I'm expecting them to be about an inch by Sunday or so.
