Welcome to week 5 of veg!!
The lady’s are traveling along as to be expected just growing nice and steady they are now up to 11” in height but have been getting a little lst to keep them open and wide. They are being fed once a week and watered every other day with 500ml of water and cal mag.
The plants that were cross topped have been the stand out of them all with better growth rates and bushier plants. The smaller big bud has been topped again so no more topping in the tent. The gold leaf outside lady’s are due to be topped but will wait until I fly home from work to do these as there steams seam to be a lot thinner and not so stiff as per the super skunk and big buds there quiet thick and stiff so wifey says!
We have had some horrid days and nights with humidity up to 85% so another bigger dehumidifier was ordered and on its way. We really want to start holding the tent at 55%. The day time temps are between 28-30 deg and nights are between 20-24 deg as we roll into winter and switch to flower these temps will drop, this will assist in controlling the tent conditions.
The Mars hydro SP3000 is running at 85% but we will be firing up the second light and blasting them from here on in so should see them start to charge up also from the extra light.
Also had a delivery of the 10 gal fabric posts so a final transplant will happen this week. We’re still thinking a few more weeks of veg maybe 3 weeks before we flip as we have quiet a bit of height in the tent and want to really try for some big long colas on this grow.
See you all next week 🤙🏻
Cheers lads I’ve moved it outside but can’t chop it up! I’ve been pulling nanas off it twice a day and it’s only been around 7 so far that I’ve found. I guess just keep it away, keep picking them off and keep her for Personel smoke
It doesnt look like the hermies ive seen in the past but id say watch it for a couple more days and see what its doing because it doesnt look like foxtailing or something of that nature either... wonderful work on your training by the way it looks amazing
Man, they look beautifully trained. When you Lolipop how many nodes do you leave at the top of each cola? I'm pretty trash at defoliation and I feel like my weights would drastically improve if i understood how much others are shaving off haha. looks clean AF
@Nugs_are_us, Hey thanks man. It's so hard getting a consensus on bud sites getting light exposure. I see half say the leaves are the panels duh and the other half stress the importance of cleaning up so that energy gets redirected to the bud sites. I feel like naturally I have not done the later yet to increase yields so I need to bust out the trimmers more lol. Good luck
@FlynnRyder, I try for the bottom 1/3rd of the plant when I do my defoliation. I try to leave at least 3-5 nodes on there as some of the bottom buds will grow to fill in the middle of the plants
@exclusiveX420, 8x4 bud need a bit more lighting and a longer veg time next run and should be epic. Thanks man I really hope they turn out like I think they will
Niiiice work 👏 can't wait to see there collas! Nice, neat, clean, nice job my friend! I too like organization with my grows. You take pride and it shows! Very impressive 👏
@Polaskis, thank you! They are set up quiet nice atm just hope the 3 different strains don’t go all crazy with different heights. Fingers crossed there is some solid colas about to happen 🤙🏻
@Nugs_are_us, Oh yeah, without a doubt.. it’s worth spending that extra time just to get training on point. I deal with a mildew issues, so that’s vital in that aspect too, otherwise the buds are growing tight and right up against each other which is breeding grounds for mildew in my case
@Ezzjaybruh, we’re heading in to winter over in Australia when summer comes back around I’ll do a 3 month veg they can be raised and topped outside then moved into the tent once there a month old. So much better to have the time to train them and lay them out how you want them hey.
@kansasscott725, there wicked little lst training tools. I got a 100 pack off eBay. Think they called them LST 90 degree trainers. I find I have to hit them with a lighter and straighten them out a little bit but so handy can super crop with out the time set back.
@Polaskis, cheers mate just topped 6 of them going to try a new way to manifold them this time around. Fingers crossed my thinking pays off this grow lol
@BigCough, I’d say all of them big bud is the strongest plant so far then super skunk 1 is also a solid plant and interested to see how the gold leaf go through flower
@Hempy_the_kid, I think next round I’ll veg for a bit longer as there only short plants and might have affected my yields but happy for my first photo plant grow
@@Waylate, thanks bud it means a lot I’ve grown a few runs of autos this is my first run at feminised seeds. Love how easy they are to train and fingers crossed they load up with buds now
@BigCough, hey buddy hope your well! Just did 3 of them into 10 gal pots I’ve never gone that big but was amazed that the 3 gal fab pots had roots all the way to the edge and bottom already. I can tell you one thing the 10 gal pots with wet dirt are bloody heavy hahahahaha. Don’t think the missus will be moving them around to much. I’ve got a 4x8 tent so plenty of room in there, I’d recommend 5 gal min mate. As they say more roots more fruits
@Nugs_are_us, damn.. 10 gallons huh? I'm debating moving mine to 5 gallons or leaving in 3... 5 gallons would fit but with little spa lace between pots for airflow... thoughts?
