Hey welcome to our 3rd grow, we are based on the Goldcoast in Australia so nice and hot and humid over here. We had a decent start to the grow. Was a full clean out and re set the tent up after an auto flower grow. New additions are a pair of Mars hydro SP3000 leds that I’m super keen to see how the go. There par map looks the goods. We also set up a new HVAC system with twin 6” exhaust fans and a single 6” intake supply. All the seeds are ILGM feminized seeds we are going with 6 plants inside the tent 4 being big bud and 2 being super skunk. They will all be topped twice and LST trained to try keep them nice and wide with many main colas. We got 5 free gold leaf seeds from ILGM when we did our order! so had to plant a few to place out on the verandah for the wifey to play with. These are rather tall plants around 7 foot outside so this pair of lady’s will be mainlined with 8 main colas on each and would think they should have some decent nuggets.

Hey all welcome back for the first week of veg life. Not a great deal to chat about today, just gave the lady’s there first feed after they were watered back on the 2/2/21 (150mil). They received a 1/4 dose of nutes this afternoon fingers crossed they don’t get any burn. As you can see in the pics the roots have made there way down to the base of the small container in only 11 days from popping the soil! The lights are still hanging at 18” over the plants, the smaller plants as in the last 2 big buds and the gold leaf’s are still on 30% power level of there light as they are still what I would class a seedling. The bigger plants are now sitting on 70% of there lights power level, I will be keeping a close eye on there tops as this is the first grow with the new Mars hydro SP3000 lights and I really don’t want to fry them. Myself and the wifey have been talking about what training we won’t to try on these plants there all average sized but big budding plants so it looks like we might be going down the top them at the 3rd true node leave the second node on and shoot up 2 nodes then top again that should give us 8 main colas. It will be a bit of uncle Ben and nebula manifold sort of style. If anyone has any input On a training style they may have used on these strains before feel free to let me know. Until next week happy growing all 🌲

Hey all welcome back to week 2 of veg. Rather slow week really as the girls get up to there 5th node, they will get topped tomorrow or the next day. We will be trying 2 different types of manifolding this grow but I’ll touch on that next week. The girls started to show a little light burn and a touch of heat stress as we had a few hot days around 34 deg Celsius I managed to keep the tent around 31 deg and the humidity around 55%. As soon as I noticed it I lifted the light up to 24” as the plants could do with a little stretch and backed the power level back from 80% back to 70%. Apart from that we transplanted from the little plastic pots to 3 gal fabric pots. I just got the cheap ones as when the go up to there final home 7.5 gal fab pots we will cut the roots ball out of the fabric pots. Last time I tried to save the pots it was a shit fight! This time around we will just make 4 cuts and fold the fabric away from the roots. Until next week happy growing!

Hey all welcome back to week 3! It started with a bang as I was due to fly back out to work Tuesday morning so Sunday the girls were brought to the chopping table to be topped as the misso ain’t real keen on snipping plants in half lol. I was a little unsure as 2 of the bigger girls were ready with 6 nodes up the rest only had there 5th node open but got to do what you got to do hey.... also I had spent the last few weeks thinking about plant structure and mainlining blah blah blah and thought bugger it I’m gunna try something with this grow as it’s the only way you will learn. So half the girls were topped at the 4th and all lower growth removed, ready to be manifolded and topped again when it home nothing weird there just a normal topping. But the bigger plants had so much under growth that i snipped them at the 4th node and kept the 3rd node also my plan is to do a cross manifold with what I have worked out to be around 16 main colas just with a little lst. I plan on letting both bud sites shoot up until they have there 3rd node out then top at the 3rd remove the second as it will grow the wrong way and let it get to our set height before we flip them. We have another internal test going on with the gold leaf plants I must say them thing are beast of a plant but we transplanted one into the 3gal fab and the other into a 5gal fab pot. Both plants were the same height so will be interesting to see if the 5 gal hd slower growth as it’s try’s to fill the pot with roots. I’ll get a few up to date photos from wifey tomorrow and hang them in the comments for those that are keen to see them as these are all from last Sunday. Happy growing legends until next week 🤙🏻

He fellow growers!! Welcome back.... This week was a descent week for growth with the girls getting full strength nutes and I’m guessing there roots are filling the 3 gal fabric pots. Most of the girls went from 4-5” in height to 7-8” in height. They are now taking around 500ml of water every other day. We have had some horrible conditions to grow indoors in with humidity up to 93% outside around 65-75% in the tent but the girls don’t seam to worried but I will be getting another dehumidifier shortly for them. At the start of the week the last of the big buds got topped at the 4th node and the 3rd node left as I’m really digging the shape that the other plants are taking on. The bigger super skunk and big buds have had there second topping we let them get out to the 4th node removed it back to the 3rd and removed the second so that all the nodes face the same way and will row even. There is a pic of the super skunk showing how the 1st node growth should work out similar in height to the 3rd as they grow. Both the bigger plants that were cross topped 4th and 3rd left not have there 16 bud sites so they will get mo more toppings just lst from here on in for them and the others will be treated the same. I did receive some bad news from the missus today but one of the smaller big buds has had a issue (I think uncleared snips) and has got some rot in the main steam so she has been removed from her dirt and will no longer be with us 🙏🏻 Apart from the bad news today everything is starting to dial in no nute burn, plants are staying nice and short fingers crossed it continues like this.

Welcome to week 5 of veg!! The lady’s are traveling along as to be expected just growing nice and steady they are now up to 11” in height but have been getting a little lst to keep them open and wide. They are being fed once a week and watered every other day with 500ml of water and cal mag. The plants that were cross topped have been the stand out of them all with better growth rates and bushier plants. The smaller big bud has been topped again so no more topping in the tent. The gold leaf outside lady’s are due to be topped but will wait until I fly home from work to do these as there steams seam to be a lot thinner and not so stiff as per the super skunk and big buds there quiet thick and stiff so wifey says! We have had some horrid days and nights with humidity up to 85% so another bigger dehumidifier was ordered and on its way. We really want to start holding the tent at 55%. The day time temps are between 28-30 deg and nights are between 20-24 deg as we roll into winter and switch to flower these temps will drop, this will assist in controlling the tent conditions. The Mars hydro SP3000 is running at 85% but we will be firing up the second light and blasting them from here on in so should see them start to charge up also from the extra light. Also had a delivery of the 10 gal fabric posts so a final transplant will happen this week. We’re still thinking a few more weeks of veg maybe 3 weeks before we flip as we have quiet a bit of height in the tent and want to really try for some big long colas on this grow. See you all next week 🤙🏻

Welcome back to start week 6 of Veg life! Was so good to arrive home after being away with work for 3 weeks. The lady’s were a tad stiff but were in for a big week while I’m home. We started with a transplant for all 8 plants from 3 gal and 5 gal fabric pots into there final size 10 gal fabric pots. We had to go pick up 75ltrs of compost, 75ltrs of coco coir blocks, 100ltrs of perlite and 50ltrs of vermiculite to complete the transplants so fair to say that was the hole first day I was at home. At the same time the girls also needed to be laid out flat to keep there bud sites a decent distance apart. Every plant was pinned down lst final toppings ect while they were transplanted. They also got a feed straight after there transplant. The next day every plant had show that the transplant had not shocked them as they had a big spurt of growth over night. So from here on in we’re thinking of either switching the girls before I fly back out to work for another 3 weeks or vegging them for the 3 weeks I’m gone. I personally would like another 3 weeks of veg to let them stand up and get a bit of height in each main before we flip them but wifey wants to turn them now. I think we will loose half the growth so will see you wins this discussion 🤣🤣 Until next week happy growing people 🤙🏻

Welcome to week 7 of veg life! The lady’s took around 4 days after there transplant to find there growth rate as they would have been filling there pots with roots. They have come on strong over the last 5 days really filling out and keeping there nodes really tight as they grow in height. They have been getting 2ltrs of water every 2 days. This is not giving run off but that will come when we get into flower. We have been feeding the lady nutes twice a week and keeping a eye on there tips as I think out nutes are rather weak. They have shown nothing but love for the larger amounts of nutes so far, see if it bites me on the butt I guess. We will run them another week in veg and switch them from there and see how we go. Until next week happy growing 🌲

Welcome to the last week of veg the lady’s have been switched to flower last night. Nothing but buds from here on in! This week was all about setting the lady’s bud sites up as even as I could and a little defoliation before they were flipped. All the plants are within a inch of each other and each plant tops are bang on same height. We stuck with the feed twice a week for the last week of veg and are right on the line of nute burn on one of the girls, we will go easy on the start of the bloom nutes and wait until around week 4 or 5 to go back to the feed twice a week again. I’m interested to see if the gold leaf will stretch out a lot more than the super skunk and big bud, if so I might have my hands full trying to keep them all under the same lights. Until next week happy growing 🌲🌲

Hey all welcome to the first week of flower! So I was lucky enough to be home this week and feel blessed to have helped the lady’s through there transition to flower. The girls got a feed of both veg and flower nutes this week as the transition to flower. They have moved up to 3ltrs of water every second day as there must be a full 10 gal of roots now. The main worry we had was that the gold leave would out grow the indica dominant big buds and super skunks but so far the big bud is stretching the hardest out of them all (only by 2”’s) so the canopy really has needed no maintenance in the first week of flower. Lights are being lifted about a inch to 2 inches every day and all seams good there. If you have been following along the double feed a week is holding up well and no signs of nute burn. We did have a issue with Sulfur deficiency in big bud 4 it seams that some how her soil ph has again spiked up to around 7.3 so she was flushed out with correct ph water and then had a feed of nutes and Epsom salts to get her back in line. She has bounced back and now has green new growth not yellow. From this mornings empty of the de humidifier to taking photos about a hour ago the girls are all starting to make the tips of there buds and showing strong signs of flower on there tops. All plants had a solid run in with the snips and got there 7 day flower defoliation and will get the same around day 21 then left to do there thing. It’s crazy how many leaves these girls have produced over the last 2 weeks. Well until next week happy growing to you all 🌲🌲🌲

Hey all welcome to week 2 of flower! Where the fun is starting to happen with flowers beaming out of all the lady’s. The lady’s have been smashing through 3ltrs of water every second day and got the one feed yesterday and have responded overnight. There has been a few little LST tie downs to try keep the colas at the same height. We have nailed the weather window with winter starting to kick in and temps lowering every week and humidity has dropped to between 40-55% day and night. Not much more to really touch on. Happy growing all until next week peace out 🤙🏻

Welcome to week 11 or week 3 of flower!! This week the girls are just doing there thing. There was a quick light height adjustment early on in the week but the girls seam to be settled in there stretch and just starting to put some size on in there buds. We will be going back to twice a week feeds this week coming as there is a little yellowing of lower leaves. It’s been 2 weeks with the missus in charge while I work away. They are due for a little defoliation when I get home. Not much else to say but bring on the nuggets 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Cheers lads I’ve moved it outside but can’t chop it up! I’ve been pulling nanas off it twice a day and it’s only been around 7 so far that I’ve found. I guess just keep it away, keep picking them off and keep her for Personel smoke

Hey all welcome back to sort of week 12 or week 4 of flower! I have just got home and don’t no what to say...... gold leaf 1 has nanas that seam to have popped and could have wrecked the whole grow 😭 The girls are def hungry as you can see there is some yellowing of the leaves so they will be getting a good feed today and again in 3 days to keep them in the zone. They are stacking up and getting a little fatness to there buds. Frost levels are just starting to kick in and the tent is pungent!! Well the next few days will be spent watching for signs of any of the other plants turning male on us. Fair to say I’m a little gutted about now as I’m about to chop up a gold leaf that will produce over 4oz of dry buds fingers crossed this diary ain’t over

Hey fellow growers welcome to the start of week 5 of flower!! Things are starting to take shape after the nana scare I’ve been keeping a close eye on the lady’s. There being fed every second day and wanting more as they gain size. All plants are starting to frost up but big bud 2 is at another level with sticky stinky colas. Fingers crossed they will continue to just do what there doing gaining size and frosting up. We did get in there and do the final defoliation a week late but that’s what happens when you work fifo and can’t be here at all times. They will get another feed today. Until next week happy growing 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Welcome to week 6 of flower! Well not a great deal to put in this week but it’s all been about fatness and the lady’s seam to be packing on there size in there buds. One of the big buds has a nute lock out so she was flushed and then fed the rest of the lady’s are just powering on. They have really upped there nute uptake and being fed twice a week with water every second day. We have added in exit this feed today to assist them in getting even bigger dense buds. As this is our first indoor fem seed grow I’m rather happy with how it’s all turning out, there is just solid 8-9” colas forming on all the plants. The gold leaf that had nanas on it has stopped producing them and is still outside. I do look forward to smoking her as she is looking rather nice like the gals in the tent. Until next week 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Hey all welcome to week 7 of flower!! The lady’s are slowly gaining some thickness of there buds and just going along quiet nicely. A tad smaller buds than I had hope for but that’s just life ain’t it. We have had a quick look through the scope and think they will run for about her 2 weeks so they may fatten up a little more. Until next week happy growing 🤙🏻
