Soaked the seed in Oregon’s Only Bigfoot .25tsp/gal overnight. She sprouted 24 hours later. I’m looking forward to growing this strain, and seeing what she can do.
Transplanted earlier in the week to a 2.5qt pot. I’ve given light nutrients, in addition to Bigfoot, for root stimulation. Eventually I’ll transplant to a 5 gallon Radicle Bag.
She’s filled up her temporary home. I just fed and watered last night, so I’ll be able to transplant in a couple of days. I increased nutrient intake slightly. 2 tsp of Big Bloom and 1tsp of Grow Big. No Bigfoot this week. I’ll use more of that when I transplant. I’ll switch to a 5 gallon Radicle Bag. She was topped 2 days ago, at the 5th node.
I Transplanted to a 5 gallon Radicle Bag this week. I added some Bigfoot when I Switched pots, to boost root growth. She’s recovered from topping and is putting on size. Once the roots fill the new pot, things could get interesting. I’ll apply the SCROG net later.
I applied the scrog net midway through the week. She’s growing well, and I’ve had no problems.
A few more weeks until flower. Flowering timing will be dictated by the progress of the Cinderella, as she’s growing fastest.
She’s establishing herself nicely. I’ve added one last shot of Bigfoot, to help the roots. I did some defoliating midweek, but I’ll get more serious about it before flower. That will be sometime this week. Until then, I’m just training her along the net.
I flipped to flower Sunday. She’s recovered from defoliating. I added a small amount of Tiger Bloom to the feeding. Continuing to train the branches along the net while she is stretching.
11 days into flower. She’s been stretching a bit. Not much for pistils yet. Midway through next week I’ll go for a final defoliation. She’s got a couple more days before the soil needs more water.
I defoliated this week, in the 3rd week of flower. The stretch should be about over. Pistils and bud sites abound. I increased Tiger Bloom. Now we wait.
She’s recovered from defoliation and buds are everywhere. THe tent is smelling great. Almost to the halfway point in flowering. Getting excited to see her swell.
Starting to pack on more mass. The bud sites are going nuts. THE Tent smells amazing. I’ve never actually had WHite Widow, so this should be a treat. Just maintaining nutrients.
She’s bulking up and putting on frost. I added a bit of Cha-Ching to her food this week. Soon I’ll be flushing and waiting. I can’t wait and will be sampling early. Heehee!
Getting into the final week and a half. I’m looking for all cloudy trichomes, with no amber on this one. So it might be day 56 on the dot. I’ll take a look later in the week. I’m getting excited. I’ve never had White Widow.
Just water this week, as it will be the last. She smells super strong. I pulled off a leaf and it smelled super skunky. I’ll be splitting the stem tomorrow, and harvesting by Wednesday.
This grew as expected for a 50/50.
Reasonable stretch. 8 week Flower time. Great body buzz with a cerebral burst. Not really suitable for tasks requiring focus AND thought.
The legendary white widow. It grew very easily. She grew up next door to Blueberry, and they grew very similarly. Not a ton of stretch. Not a fussy feeder. I chopped at day 59 of flower, leaving a goodly amount of sugar leaves, to slow the drying process. I hung her up for 9 days, then jarred with Boveda 62 packs. Easily the skunkiest strain I’ve ever grown. Nugs are rock hard and frosty. After trimming, I went outside and thought there was a skunk near the house. I let her get some amber trichomes, as she would have finished all milky before the blueberry. Consequently there is a pretty good amount of couchlock. I smoked some the other night. Then took a shower. I was dancing and singing in the shower, so the expected cerebral rush was there. But you can tell that, if you sit down, you may not get back up. Then I grabbed a sponge and scrubbed the shower, while I was in it. It’s a great balanced high. Good relaxed body buzz, with an initial cerebral rush. It mellows out after 45 minutes, or so, leaving me peacefully glued to the couch. It also gives me a short memory. I get distracted easily. But it’s very difficult to stay angry when you can’t concentrate hard enough to keep the fires burning. I usually don’t like strains that make me stupid, but sometimes that’s exactly what I need. Haha.
@ItsLegalInMyHouse, I’m considering pitching an ad for Mr Clean Magic Erasers. Number one choice of weird, naked, stoned dudes, who should really be finishing up their shower, rather than being amazed at how well the magic eraser works.
Kinda cool that you got blueberry, and white widow going. And I got blueberry widow as a diary. Your white widow is looking killer tho awesome strong structure 💯💪
@iMeus, You are too kind. I thank you! It’s a great strain. It’s about finished drying today. I can see why it’s a classic. You picked a good one for your first time. I never had a single problem with it. No nute burn. Just easy sailing.

@ObiWeedKenobi, Thank you! I use a heating mat when I transplant, and when I start new seeds. But the substrate eventually reaches room temperature, without it. Which is currently about 75. When I water, I try to keep it about that temperature too, so there is no shock.
