Most plants fatten up a lot in the last week or 2 before they are finished. Some plants bulk up sooner than others and some just bulk up more than others due to genetics. I know white widows are fairly heavy yielders and the ones i grew got dense and thick as hell. Im not familiar with blue dream but it may just require longer to finish than the white widow so it will start bulking up more later. Also i wouldnt bother flushing. Theres been more and more research that it actually does nothing to benefit the quality of your weed in the end. You are just starving the plants of what they need and making them eat themselves. This doesnt lower nutrient conten in the buds because they are just pulling nutes from their leaves and putting it into new bud growth. Once the plant runs out of nutrients bud growth stops. So you can actually have slightly lower yields if you flush for too long. The plants naturally slowly take up less nutes as they finish but they still take up nutes all the way to the end. So what i do is just slowly taper my nutes down to a 50% dose during the last 2 weeks before harvest. The other big benefit to tapering your nutes down instead of just stopping them is, if your plant is taking longer than expected to finish you arent hurting the plant by starving it for a long time. Its still gonna have nutrients to finish growing and bulking up its buds. One study that tested flushing even went as far as doing a taste test between flushed and unflushed weed. People actually prefered the unflushed weed stating it was tastier and smoother. Heres a link to one of the newest studies. https://www.rxgreentechnologies.com/rxgt_trials/flushing-trial/ Hope ive helped!

soulijsam thanks for the comment and reading what I had wrote . This asnwers my questions , the old man I talk with that used to farm said he did flush them but only last 2 days before he chopped them up .Being honest I do like the idea of flushing the nutes out of the medium so she’s forced to use up her stores and clean up but I’ll certainly read into the studies more but past experience tells me heavily fed plants do taste like what I’ve always called “chemical weed” , strong as a ox just a bit rough Madeingermany I wasn’t meaning when to harvest , I’ve read and understood checking the trichomes to decide harvest . It was more of knowing when to flush as I’d imagine they change from milky to amber pretty quickly leaving little time to flush .

hey buddy :-) You can check this with a microscope using the trichomes :-) if they are milky you can feel them, if they become amber you can harvest them as you please :-) have fun bro 👌👍
