Snapped stem while doing LST

Should I cut it off? I just put some ductape around it. It snapped on me while doing LST (this is an autoflower) do I want her to put all her energy in fixing that, or should I just take my loss, and let her focus on the other branches, and therefor cut it off?

Hey bro! From the photo, it looks like a critical break. I think by this point, the processes of decay in the broken part have already started, so it's better to remove it and the plant will recover in other areas. Next time, try not to water the plant for two days before the bend, on the second day, feel free to bend it, and for breaks, you can apply a medical splint - a rigid stick to the break site, tightly wrap it in two places - above and below the break. The main thing is that the broken parts fit tightly together, and after a break, you can't hesitate; you need to act immediately if you want to save the plant. 👌 Everything will be fine, it will recover! 👍 Good luck, bro! 👋

Hey gardener! I've seen that 2 or 3 times, it wasn't me who took care of it but my buddy made a splint with a wooden skewer and some tape and it worked at least 2 out of 3 times. After, even if the branch sticks, you're going to lose a lot of time because it's severely cut. Good luck, bella ciao!

I haven't had this happen in my grows, but I believe I would try to tape the stem and save it. No matter what your harvest will suffer because it's an auto, but this will give the plant both options.... The plant can save the top if possible or the plant will send all growth to side branches... Hope this helps...happy growing ✌️👊

Hello.. Hope you are well.. Oops!!, we've all done it!.. Personally id check bk up on her in hr or 2 n see if any wilting occurs.. If not then just leave her on.. I recently did it on my fat banana (shown in dairy).. Cannabis plants are pretty tough.. If u dont want her to seem to struggle thr just take it off if ur worried.. Any energy will transfer to other grow sites.. Stay safe n gud luck.. 👍🍀
