Noob grower - plant need extra support?

I've got a plant 9 weeks into veg that sags noticeably when the leaves are wet. Is this unusual or will the branches thicken enough to be able to support rain soaked clusters of sticky-icky happiness? Is there anything I can do to encourage thicker branches?

Hello fellow grower, drooping of the branches is normal after a good rain as the water droplet s stuck on the leaves and branches will weigh the branches down. This will actually strengthen your branches for next rainfall. Believe it or not when I tie down branches those branches become very strong and want to force themselves back up again. So every time you get a good rain or a good wind your plants fibers will become stronger in preparation for next time. I wouldn't worry too much about it until the last week or two of flower when buds can swell up and get so heavy that they will break branches. I've had to tie my oversized buds up to the greenhouse frame before to prevent branches from snapping. Hope this was somewhat helpful! And good luck with the grow! 👍😎

Completely normal, it does so so that the water runs off the leaves and falls in the root zone of the plant. Ah nature, love it. Since you are growing outside, in the open air, there is nothing you need to do, your plant will grow strong enough to support its flowers all by itself, it "knows" what to do! Weak sappy branches are usually more of a problem indoors when there isn't enough light strength or air movement, neither of which are lacking outdoors. Cheers, Organoman.

Provide silica to make plants tougher. Is answer to question. Lay off it in flowering though. Will make bud tough
