Silverfish Bad?

Are silverfish bad? Somehow one found it’s way into my grow tent and I put a cup over it and then the hoe just got out somehow when I went to scoop him up

Agreed with others Silverfish aren't too big of a concern. They don't like the light and feed on simple proteins found in paper. wood, probably soil, etc. but with the high intensity light present in grow tents I doubt they'd infest a grow tent.. Too much light.

I believe their main source of food is paper. Always found them in old filing cabinets and closets

Hello.. Hope you are well.. They are attracted to the moisture.. Not a major problem or bug tho.. I think they can create root minimal damage but nothing massive.. not 100% sure of their life cycle .. I know they fast little buggers!! 🤣.. Stay safe n hope all goes well.. 👍🍀
