thrips. absolute nightmare to get rid of i have never suceeded in doing so. think treatment harm your plants more than the thrips. pretty sure they only attack leaves.

As other posters have indicated, you have an infestation of thrips. I have had them ruin entire plants very close to harvest. If you are in veg still and you have a pump sprayer, you can use this organic pesticide. You mix up the solution and spray over and under and everywhere around the plant. You should really only need to apply once, but it may require a second spray a few days later. If you are in flower, unfortunately, you may have to say goodbye to this plant. https://www.amazon.com/Monterey-LG6135-Garden-Spinosad-Concentrate/dp/B002BP12LI/ref=sr_1_2?crid=300Z4KXAVCTOP&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.1GLAYFWOa63FeuwXsi2uKw_HvzfMjfEVzztxs2SuB2CaXiZzpk2tFLNoBT0iwBNHrM4oD0X2Ox2IBl4R9IfOFLft24GCXDQ3WRHnNGXTQ81gw5pba8K-2aP_EyxKKIh8KT2bt1xEb9mYexrGd2eMyjB_3ZWXTAEkRUtHVJ4vMnwfqJC2b412DFQ6Coh6YXR-1d0EWX8w88hVFgQq5RCjl0FIAss9NQ8iHqr8hbXS1EO_newrdSTnPFt7EqCCPVzgfjcIsBxk0F9Y1hMC4sbuAso1aOU6vS-akIQ0wB850Wo.m_xiTXh4WCH9WrDPmZmyYfAd5QfPQ5EyDCS-HjAhe3w&dib_tag=se&keywords=monterey%2Bgarden%2Binsect%2Bspray&qid=1724104292&sprefix=monterey%2B%2Caps%2C93&sr=8-2&th=1

You have a solid army of thrips. If you are in flower, there is not much you can do besides predatory mites. You might be too far along for that, but is your only option. If you are in veg or very early flower (before week 3) you can spray. I don't like to spray neem or any oils on my plants (I grow in the sun and it burns them), I prefer a soapy mixture to smother them. If you do decide to do a combination, spray 1st and later add the predatory mites after so you don't kill your mites with the thrips. Thrips also lay their eggs in the soil, so you may need to keep the treatment going for a few weeks to a month to catch the babies as they hatch and avoid another infestation.

Pest can be treated a few ways. Neem oil works good if you are not flowering. Treat it twice about 4 to 5 days apart. I soak the plant everywhere and let it sit about 30 mins. Then rinse off good. Don't use in flowering. It chemically sterilizes the pest if they don't die from it. You don't want to ingest it. So no flowering spraying. If flowering I generally just hit the plant with a lighter pressure water and rinse them off really good. Then spray the neem in the grow space and set the plant back in. Repeat weekly, have very good air flow and ventilation, and keep pushing your humidity to 40 if in flowering.
