What is the right way to place yellow sticky traps?

I'm having some fungus gnats and was planning to begin LST in a couple of days so I can't keep the traps in the pot near the soil like I have them now. What would be the right way to place them to catch the gnats without touching the plant? Thanks!

Hey man, you can simply hang the traps somewhere near the pot in the air for the time being and place them back on the soil of possible again.
Also personal recommendation: if you have fungus gnats try to get some sf-nematodes. It's like 5$ a pack and they are an organic and very helpful way of getting rid of gnats by killing larvae. Worked like a charm for me when I used them!

As close to the soil as possible. They are attracted to both the color yellow, and the moisture of the soil.

Neem Oil in 3rd or 4th week?Can i spray one more time with Neem Oil now? 3rd or maybe 4th week of flowering now. Noticed that some leafs are being eaten. Are these springtails "infecting" my DWC bucket? There's no smell and the plant is doing greatI might have a springtail "infection". Can I get some additional eyes on these? Sorry, I don't have a microscope. Tiny, white jumping specks. My googling tells me that they are "springtails" and supposedly harmless or even beneficial. Thoughts?
