Defoliating or continuing lst only?

Should I defoliate before flower?she's really bushy down low and has some huge fan leaves which are blocking out a bit of the light to bud sites. Should I just continue to lst her and wait until the lower bud sites grow out more or should I defoliate a bit before flowering?

Hey buddy ;-) leaves only remove the bottom that more power arrives at the top but because of light is nonsense. The leaves absorb light and give nutrients to the buds. The buds do not absorb light 👍

I noticed some white growth in middle of buds and am wondering if it is bleaching? I posted a couple pictures of the buds. I did move the light up. Was at 28" but some that have the white are over 30" away. MFG says 30-42 away from plants. I can't go any farther and I'm at 30

Defoliation, is it worth it? It’s the start of week 5, my 3 plants are growing in a tight tent and the leaves are starting to cross between them. I’m worried that the smaller plants won’t get enough light but I’ve never defoliated before and I am nervous to try. any advice? :)

I'm going to take cuttings for clones soon. If you check the pics you should see that the taller of the 2 plants has a "Y" where the main stem split. I'm thinking cutting at the bottom of the Y would give me a good cutting/clone. Any thoughts or advice welcome... Thanks!

Thinning the Fan Leaves?When (if ever) should I thin out the fan leaves? It's my understanding that removing the majority of the fan leaves will help direct growth towards the buds, but I don't want to do this process too early. The plant is currently outside and in its 7th week of growth.

Defoliation 2nd week of flower / Should i remove more?Its 2nd week of flower and i did some defoliation/pruning I removed about 8 branches on my 4 plants ( all the ones the didnt reach near 50% of height) I also removed som sugar leaves and fan leaves in the bottom, and two in the top to expose some underdevoloped buds.
