Hello.. Hope you are well.. Great choice of lighting btw.. Personally i wud put the hps in.. The sf(even the big boy) wont see much of difference i think in just 1 extra.. Altho they have great efficiency(sf's) ur plants will thrive of the different spectrum from hps!.. Assuming they can handle the heat and u have air exchanges i love to mix leds with hps.. Hope they turn out well around harvest for u.. Stay safe n gud luck.. 👍🍀

Hey gardener! If you started with 2 Spider Farmers, you might as well continue with a third one since your dark room and environment are already set up for the Spider Farmers. A 1000 watts creates a lot of heat, so since summer is coming soon and temperatures are going to rise, you might experience heat spikes in your room if you use one. As for the THC, you won't be able to get more than expected, so if your strain is 17%, you won't get more than 17% even if you add all the nutrients in the world because it's genetically defined. However, for the taste, I don't know if HPS is better than the Spider Farmers, but I know that with good nutrients, you get good taste. Good luck to you, bella ciao!

Hi! I think this question depends on your growing system. I'd say use SF 4000 'cos it should be more efficient and produce less heat. If you have controlled system and you have CO2 control then bump the CO2 to 1500PPM and temps to 30C 👌 Basically led is more efficient so use it unless HPS brings other added benefits which I don't seem to know any.
