hi there.. yes it's absolutely normal that the "pistils" (it's actually the stigmas) turn orange and brown.. depending on the strain they might go purple or another color.. The stigmas is what creates the seeds if it's being pollinated, and when the plant waits too long without being pollinated, they pretty much "age out" and shrimple up. Given that we don't want the stigmas to get pollinated (unless you want to create seeds), that's just how they evolve. It is totally normal as you head into later flower. Some people even use the pistils darkening and turning in to judge when to harvest (although it's best to also look at other factors like trichomes, bud structure, and flowering time). The amount of pistils turning orange and the timing can be somewhat strain dependent as well. Happy growing, it looks like a great harvest isn't too far away! 🌱👍
