I have thousands of these bugs everywhere today after fertilizing my flowers; I am really regretting using those fertilizers. Does anyone know what they can be?

So my wife is a master gardener associated with our local state university (withheld for privacy), and she contacted an entomologist - these are termites. Super harmful to cannabis, although my organic should be a layer of protection due to beneficial nematodes. The termites in our area swarm each year, and lose their wings as they couple. Nature's crazy.

Looks like Adult thrips. They have several stages of life. The adults bite into ur leaves and implant there eggs into the cell walls of the leaf. The eggs hatch and than the larva will damage and devastate ur foliage. The larva after a good go at ur plant will drop to the medium and bury themselves to pupate. Than Come out the medium back up the plant... Creating the full life cycle. They are one of the hardest cannabis pests to eradicate... and should not be takin lightly. Spinosad is very effective against this pest but without proper application and knowledge of these ninja bastards, still will be a hard fought battle. First step would be to remove any foliage with apparent bite Marks. They love middle to low foliage and ur damage should start concentrated in this area until populations are amass. Because they implant their eggs into the leaves, most foliage pesticide applications will have no effect on their eggs. Than on to a soil drench to eradicate the pupaters. Starting pesticide application here the ninjas on ur plant cant drop down and hide in ur medium. And u have to eradicate all stages of life... the ones pupating in ur medium gotta go. Now starting from the base of ur plant moving towards the top of the plant. Give a complete spray of ur plants leaves with ur spinosad. Spray the undersides of the leaves than their tops before moving to higher foliage. Starting from the bottom of the plant and hitting both sides of the leaves before going higher will prevent bugs above dropping to safety. They will for sure start dropping down but they will be dropping into ur already treated areas... to their death. Follow up application 5 days later to kill the eggs u missed. The eggs of thrips take 4-5 days to hatch. Of course there will be eggs that are ready to hatch on u in 2 days... but the nymphs take 10 days before they can even pupate. U should not have new eggs laid in this period without a rogue adult present. Follow up treatment will kill ur remaining thrips. Please Note to do a good check at follow up treatment for any signs of adult thrips. If seen another treatment again will be likely. It is of the upmost importance to eradicate all stages. Not just kill the ones above medium or the cycle WILL continue. GOOD LUCK MY FRIEND! Have questions message me!

Looks like a thrip to me (but haven't gotten them personally). They can be real bastards, but not as bad as spider mites to deal with. They will eat/damage leaves so I would start killing them asap. They can lay eggs in leaf tissue as well making egg removal difficult for pest management, and only some sprays effective at getting rid of the eggs. If you don't want to use soap sprays, you can immediately combat them with water spraying at a decent pressure (eg. In the shower) or vacuuming them up every day to reduce their population and hopefully kill them off if you are diligent. Hope that helps!
