they look great for 21 days... i wouldn't overthink removing stuff... are any leaves causing standing water to be present? (from overlapping) ... if not i'd retain as many leaves as you can. they power growth. if node spacing is too tight, try reducing light slightly -- either dim slightly, raise it slightly or a combo of both. If you can work out a guesstimate of DLI fom your ight specs, it can help here.

Supplementary: I defoliated my current auto throughout the entire veg and bloom phase to create light and space. But always just a little at a time. Then wait 1-2 days and then the next thing that was bothering me. My plant was never in shock and developed excellently and beautifully. The result speaks for itself, I think. A friend of mine somehow stunned his autoflower plant in week 1. It then stayed in that tiny state by the window for 2 weeks and didn’t develop further. After those 2 weeks, he repotted it and put it in the tent. It just picked up where it left off and ended up giving him 70g of buds. But it was still a seedling and not in the VEG phase when it was stunned.

If you want to remove a lot of leaves at once, you should defoliate during the last VEG week for autoflowering. So week 3-4. If you only take one leaf off per day, you can actually do that throughout the entire growth and flowering period. Good luck and a great harvest, bro!

First and foremost - DO NOT TOP AN AUTOFLOWER!!! That requires exceedingly precise timing and if you've never grown this particular strain of auto before, you don't know what HER timing is and therefore can't figure out when its safe to top and when doing so will destroy the grow... Defoliation. I wouldn't do it quite yet. Yeah, she's wonderfully busy - but in the veg state, she needs those leaves to get to her maximum potential. When she goes into flower, you can consider some selective defoliation to get more light to lower bud sites... or to make sure the air flow is getting through the plant efficiently to prevent fungus/bud rot... Personally, I'd just let her chug along - she's looking really, really good. That being said, if there are any leaves that are touching the soil, you COULD remove those - probably good to do... but otherwise, let her be... Consider some LST (this is the ONLY technique you should use on an auto!) so light is getting to the lower nodes... Good luck!

Still in veg mate. Try topping them or snapping some branches which will give you much better results than a defoil.

In this case is acceptable to remove few leaves in the middle of a plant. Try to select 5-6 leaves max that will not get direct light in any circumstances. Cut them 1-2 per day. In general your major task - LST to increase amount of light on a plant.

I do not know where you see bushy but nvm 😅 I think will be better if u do LST Defoliation is up to you u can do it if u want just don't do to much cut 1-2 leaves per day to make sure no to give stress, its okay to do it during flowering 2-3 week buy only before stretch is over
