hey growers! I was wondering if anybody is using a type of switch that will activate a fan if cooling is needed? I wanna use this on my exhaust to avoid overheating when I'm not around. TIA

I use inkbird controllers for both humidity and temperature. they are currently £63.99 on amazon and automates the temp/humidity environment perfectly for me in a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2m black orchid tent. I am on my 1st grow and weeks in and have had no issues with these controllers. Fans/heater/humidifier's and de-humidifiers all run through the controllers so save a huge amount of messing around and helps in this summer heat for sure! just paste (Inkbird ITC-308 Digital Temperature Controller Heating and Cooling with IHC-200 Humidity Controller Humidifier and Dehumidifier) into amazon for both if needed :) good luck and hope we all have successful and happy grows!

You can get a temperature controller that will need a heating input and a cooling input. Eg. Heater and ac. Ideally you'd want your extraction fan to run constantly. 👍🌱

After all I want that air exchange to always be going to bring in fresh co2. I guess you could timer if your running co2 but if your not I don't see why you would other than to save a bit of power? Save some run time on fan? Happy growing!
