Too much humidity

BearSmallsstarted grow question 4 years ago
I have too much humidity in the box. The worst thing is that in every room in my house it stays at a similar level (75-80%). Salt + rice and the moisture absorber in the box don't work. Flowering will start soon. There are no signs of too much moisture on the plants. What to do?

I don't have post a diary but i tell you what I'm done 😀 before this year in my previous room i have in the box 34/36 c° and humidity of 90%/92%...this isn't really good but if you can circulate the air in the box very good to not create a moisture to the surface of leafs you can manage to have a good grow, not perfect but good, so you need two or tree fan, or depend how big is your room 🤔 maybe you need more, keep in Mind you need circulating air 24/24 hours

Yes as others have said.. unfortunately there is no effective way to lower your humidity if the whole entire space is not dryer then the tent.. The tent is climate controlled as long as the environment around the tent is too high of humidity there is very little that can be done... other then spending cash.. Sorry to say. Umm the growing strains that are more resistant to mold is great advice.

You can find strains that can thrive at the higher humidity levels even in flower. I'm personally struggling with high humidity myself but it's from the rapid temp changes from day to night. Just keep your plants defoliated so that they don't get to bushy. It will help check out my diary I just did a big one at the end of week 3 in flower. Hope this helps.. Other than that Dehumidifer or portable ac in the room or figure out a way to duct your ac for your home into your tent / room your tent is in.. Happy growing! 👊

There are a few options. More ventilation: open your windows. let the air run well for at least twice a day for a quarter of an hour or install a ventilation system. Radiator. Better insulation. Install a dehumidifier

You could always close all windows and turn on the radiator. 75%-80% in your living space is not healthy you should take care of that problem first.

Is there a cheaper solution than dehumidification?
