This clearly looks like root rot, right?
Gonna try to save my babies by amending their soil with perlite. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Total newbie here, so I'm taking it as a learning experience 🤷♂️

You're overwatering them, bro! At that age, they only need about 100-150 ml in a 1-3 liter pot! You're giving too much water to those plants in your 3.5-liter pots, but you're giving them 500 milliliters of water! For their pots, the maximum water dose is 10% of the pot volume - you can only give a maximum of 350 milliliters of water in those 3.5-liter pots! 👆

Your problem is your feeding practices.. Your giving your young plants way too much juice bro. The soil mix is hot enough as it is without you adding nutrients to the feed water.

Root rot in (re-used) coco?Medium: coco/perlite (65/35), 25L AirRap pots. Re-used from last grow after 2 months drying followed by rinsing all the cocodust away. Root rot ?Could this be root rot ? My bucket temp sits between 19•C/ 66,2•F to 21•C / 70•F
12 liters of water ( About 3,2 gallons ) and 8liter air pump/min ( about 2,1 gallons ) using remo nutrients ( Micro, Grow, MagnifiCal, Velokelp and some Natures candy ) btw she’s 10 days old

Root rot or not?I can’t tell if this is normal discoloration or starting signs of root rot. Running Orca, Roots Excellurator silver, hydroguard and z7, res temps have drifted around 72-75f when my chiller was down for the first week, have since kept it at 68f. Would greatly appreciate some help.

using 3% peroxide?!?!can someone help me out with understanding what i can do to get rid of root rot in dwc... im using cyco plat nutrient line and herd that you can use 3% peroxide to solve this issue.
atm all that i can get in my country is a group 4 fungicide called rot stop...

Is this root rot, could it be an excess of nutrients? How can I fix this from happening.I have some root issues, I recently upped the PPM in my tank, and since then my roots have started going very brown. PPM was at 900 when this issue appeared, so i reduced and is around 690 Ph is 5.8, - OUTDOOR DWC

Should I quit, and start over? Still not out if it's root rot or just coloration from the larvea. Hydroponicshad larvea infestation. Used h2o2, 2 days later my roots looked like photo #1. Now 4 days later, same roots look like #2. Had pH problems. lowered now. Gon look if its stable tomorrow. They should be ready to flip now. All other pics are also from today. Should I continue?

I think I had a common problems with my LSD-25: the water level. Did I have to set my water level just below the tip of the roots when they appeared? I had nice roots the 1st week, I set my water to keep the roots in the water but she looked like she drowning.Week 2

I added 10ml of 3% H2O2 inside the DWC through the control tube, after a few seconds there was a strange chemical reaction.

Brownish red algae like substance in DWC within 48 hrs- plants look great thoI’ve done DWC several times, not a newbie. Getting pH spikes from 6.0 to just under 7.0 in 48 hrs, and an algae like dark brown/reddish substance within 48hrs as well. New stones, black buckets, 950 GPH pump feeding 1 stone per bucket. Net pots covered with cardboard. What gives?
