Root Rot?

Is this root rot? I have fixed my temps in the last 4 days. I am already using H&G Roots Excelurator. Is Hydroguard better or should I use both? I also tried fixing light leaks. Any other suggestions?

You should be using both. As the last person said root accelerate nutrient helping grow roots faster, while hydrogaurd is a beneficial bacteria that will keep your roots healthy during harsher environment. Things like slightly higher res temps.

Thank you @deeunit1 & Popcorngc I haven't used the Hydroguard yet as I wasn't sure it was basically the same as the Roots Excelurator. I am doing weekly water changes. I had read a few forum posts on some grow sites where people were making it sound like RE and HydroG were basically the same type of thing. My water change was yesterday. I looked today and the root rot has gotten progressively worse. I added the hydroguard first thing this morning after seeing your responses. Hopefully this will make a difference.

They both do different things I think.Hydroguard is Mycorrhizal Fungi and Root XL is one wicked root stimulator that's only to be used for a few weeks.Iv got both,lol.but gone all organic now.The hydroguard should be keeping your roots all healthy.The nute company by far is Advanced Nutrients.I use their Voodoo Juice,makes your roots 200% bigger.DWC is a sensitive one.Temp,light,PH.How often do you change your food?They say weekly is best.Hydroguard feeding rate is per gallon.Are you sure its for DWC.I'd google my friend.It shouldn't be root rot with hydroguard.

Roots getting brown My Ph probe didn't work, PH was at least more than 0.30 (maybe 0.60) than displayed. As a result they had multiple chlorosis, now septoria leaf spots and possible Pythium since the roots are getting brown. What would you do to save the crop ? Adding mycorrhizae? Thx!

DWC (rootrot) to soil?I have starting problems with roots, they are taking littlebit rootrot colors.... Is that possible to move from DWC to soil? if I cut carefully those bad parts off? Is soil going to rotten too if I do this? I will ofc wash roots and like that before transwer.

How long before they die ?2 of them getting yellower by the day, 3 or 4 of them lost their roots under the pot and they come off very easily. Color is very dark but no slime or foam. It's too bad : I had only 2 weeks and 2 days remaining. Any idea ?

Help with DWC Help. Need it for DWC. Why are my roots turning brown. They just look weak and not so strong. I can touch them and know they are not healthy. Running 4 buckets with 4inch airstones. I'm nowhere near an expert. Just still learning. I've done a DWC before,never problems .

Root rot?Roots are brown but don't feel slimy and give off no odour. New root growth is virgin white. Could it be discoloration from the nutrient solution or is it the dreaded root rot? pH is constant 5.9-6.1...I added 5mL/gallon hydrogen peroxide to be safe

Should I quit, and start over? Still not out if it's root rot or just coloration from the larvea. Hydroponics had larvea infestation. Used h2o2, 2 days later my roots looked like photo #1. Now 4 days later, same roots look like #2. Had pH problems. lowered now. Gon look if its stable tomorrow. They should be ready to flip now. All other pics are also from today. Should I continue?
