Aphid removal near harvest.

@Rap_a_cap yes I did see a couple ants yesterday. More than likely going to come down to washing the plant pre and post harvest. Have been researching that process already for my outdoor crops this year. Be worth it to try anyway! I purchased some azamax to perform a soil drench.

Mate, in addition to weed, I biologically grow dozens of roses and clematis and over the years I have learned that nettle macerate sprayed on roses is very effective against aphids. If you can't do it at home, you can buy it ready, it doesn't alter the flavor (at least the homemade one). For small infestations I personally quickly pass the flame of the lighter on the aphid columns, simple, fast, effective and harmless for the stems. Try it. They will die in a second.

Azadiractin is not very systematic so I dont think it will help much. I suggest a folair spray or lace wing larva.

sprinkle ground cinnamon around your plant to keep those ants away!👊
