I was going to dunk my plants into a soap and water mix and then rinse them off, is that a bad idea 5 weeks into flower?

I saw some aphids here and there the other day, so I was thinking I was going to rinse my plants again today, but I sprayed some neem oil around the pots yesterday and today I can’t find any... Is it okay to rinse my plants 5 weeks into flower, will it mess up the trichomes?

Don't do that! Cannabinoids are fat soluble, using soap will completely destroy everything.

got it! the neem oil seems to be doing the trick for now, I’ll stick to water only if I need to rinse off some aphids, THANKS :)

Pest infestation left my plant folded and weak. I treated it, but now blacked out leaves?Ants were farming an oval shaped bug's secretions that was eating my stem and going underground, leaving a trail of a film-like substance.
Treated it with neem oil, cigarette butt tea, garlic and dishwasher soap to fend them off. Black leaves now. Tips?
