did I LST correctly? and is it too late?

Looks like you have the right idea, but ideally you'd want to start LST from a fairly young age for best results. I would keep keep doing what you're doing tho keep the plant spread out and as much light to bud sites as possible while its still in the flowering stretch(usually last about 3 weeks) and than you can just leave it to finish maturing.
