Multi strain hydro, a recipe for disaster?

GanjaTorturer
GanjaTorturerstarted grow question 4 years ago
Do you think it is a doomed idea to try and grow different strains with the same hydro solution in the same system? I am planning on doing 2 strains for the next run, but going up to 4. I know it can result in chaos and murder but ...is there anybody out there, who has done this?

Hello. This is the cannabis plant. The only minor difference is Indica or sativa witch like to be treated only minorly differently. I've grown 9 different strains at the same time on the same water, indicia and sativa crosses, and all was fine. If you can control the height on the taller ones, you will do fine. Good Luck. Chuck.

This is the cannabis plant. My thoughts exactly good sir. ...and height control is manageable via a manic scrogger from hell. Case closed. Yes sir I will boogie woogie them 4 strains. Thx for the answers and encouragement.

All the plants will be in individual tanks that are fed by the main tank. The roots are hanging out in their studio apartments, no contact with other plants.

As long as you go light on the feed and not heavy your ok as long as you dont run into root issues because of warm water. I would definitely use a chiller running the water at 62 degrees if I was going to run multiple. Watch your girls, and start at 400 ppm 0.8ec see which grow better, the slower ones may have like 500 ppm better., but go by the ones that are growing the fastest. The underfed ones will still do good, over feed and your others wont. Cheers friend
