Additional light at night in greenhouse???

Hi guys. This is my first grow. I am growing in a 5x5 pvc greenhouse that I covered in polyethylene 6mil plastic. I am growing autoflowers and I only get 12 hours of sunlight a day. I have a viparspectra 1000w light, is it possible to use this light in the greenhouse at night?

It's only a 230 w Light in reality.. It's not enough to truly cover your 5x5 footprint but it would add additional light period to those auto's which they can and do love. As chucky said it will bring the attention of many a bug. You must also consider they aren't very "water proof" at all.. you could set that light up indoor and bring them in every evening as a more viable solution.

Hello. That 1000 watts at night should be enough to attract every moth for miles :). Yes you can use a light I just think that one is a bit bright. Good Luck. Chuck.

What size pot for final homeI am ready to transplant this girl. I have a 7 gallon plastic pot or a 30 gal tote from big lots I can drill holes in. Flowering time already?Located in southeast USA where I’m still at 88-92 degrees everyday with over 14hrs of sunlight everyday. All plants are showing more white pistils than usual and I was not expecting this until at least mid August. Maybe I’m just jumping the gun And should wait to see what happens

Confused with light schedules for outdoor growingHi fellow growers, I'm really confused with light schedules for outdoor growing.
Everywhere I see 18/6 for veg and 12/12 for flowering.
However at my place I get ~13hours of daylight (not always sunlight)
Would my plants get into flowering if daylight is reduced to ~11 hours?

Best way to move outdoors?I plan on moving her outside in the 5 gal grow bag outside in a few weeks once she's matured a bit. I've been using ph 6.5 balanced tap water in a tent to water thus far. Should I still be measuring ph when I'm watering outside? Won't rainwater undo any ph balancing?Week 1
